"Tara come with us." Elena called out as Richard prepared to leave with their group.
Shaking her head, Tara responded. "I'm sorry Princess. But I am no longer a part of your party… I hope you can understand."
"This… why do you have to be so stubborn?"
"We don't have time for this. One last chance… Will you join us?" Richard asked.
"No," Max replied without hesitation.
Richard nodded. "Alright."
Just before they left, Elena turned her attention to Max, staring daggers at him as she was whisked away.
Just barely, Max could make the words out of her lips.
"I hope you die a gruesome death!"
Max scoffed. "Don't worry, I'll be seeing you around soon enough."
Whoosh
Just like that, the light was gone, and with it… Richard and Elena's group.
At the same time, the gargantuan Chimera began to move once again. Its large body, causing the buildings around it to crumble as it sort to chase after Richard.
Unfortunately, it was too slow to catch up with him.
