"Something on your mind?... You seem tense." Elena asked.
Currently, they were on their way to the gate leading to the heart of Nazarene. With much difficulty, Richard was lucky enough to lead them on a path with a low chance of getting any attention from the Chimera.
The buildings were high and the street was dark, with just enough visibility to see what was in front.
For now, everything was looking up… that is if Richard was not currently looking tense.
"Nah, everything is fine."
"You don't look too good though."
Richard sighed. "Well, I guess you are right. I'm just wondering what happened that caused me to fall into a deep sleep for so long. It's crazy."
Elena furrowed her brows as she made to study Richard's actions.
Even though she was following him, a part of her felt slightly apprehensive. Almost as though there was something he wasn't telling them.
And that was something Elena disliked.
