"I'm going to butcher that bastard Charles!" Elena bellowed as she walked down a hallway. Beside her, Tanya walked with a dark expression on her face.
"Your highness, I think it's best to calm yourself for now."
Elena stood in place and turned to glare at Tanya for a few moments. For Tanya, it felt like a lioness had just bared its fangs at her, thus she instinctively took a step back.
Seeing her right hand flinch, Elena took deep breaths. "Hah, don't be scared, Tanya. I'm just upset that uncle had to come now that I was so close to making Max my puppet."
"But does it matter though?... I believe we still have the upper hand." Tanya gave her honest thoughts.
Elena shook her head. "I guess but the whole issue with the Elf, Ryuk is going to get complicated. I just hope uncle doesn't bother to look into the details and leaves it in my hands."
"… I understand your majesty's worries but I believe everything should work out well in the end."
