After learning from Laura that Max was going to agree with Elena's request, he thought it best to ask him in person.
"I don't have a choice. She was sly enough to prepare not only Ryuk's release but also that of my mother. No matter what, I can't let Ryuk spend any more time in her custody, and most importantly…" Max trailed off.
