"We pay homage to the Princess of the Empire." Laura, Lara, and Lloyd greeted as both ladies bowed while Lloyd was a bit more casual as he gave a curt nod to acknowledge her presence.
Tanya narrowed her eyes. The fact that Lloyd chose not to bow did not sit right with her. "Does he think that with the little money he made, he can behave however he likes?"
It was hard to stomach such a thing.
In any case, Princess Elena had a friendly smile as she addressed Lloyd. "My aide informs me that you threatened to beat her silly if she didn't stop talking."
"Any problems?" Lloyd asked.
Elena's smile only brightened. "Not at all. I would like to apologize for her rudeness. You won't be seeing her any longer."
Lloyd gave a mock bow. "Your highness is too kind."
Even though he said that inwardly Lloyd was wary of the princess. She may not be strong but her cunning nature made her as dangerous as those with real power.
