Alex?
Tama didn't think that Alex would pick up the call. Of course, Tama was surprised. He let out a long breath. Barely believe it.
Tama's eyes immediately rolled.
oh well. Does this mean Eshika is going out with her crush? So he lost track of time? ckckck. Typical girl blind eyes blind heart. More concerned with dating with his crush so he hasn't come home until now.
"Oh, Lex," Tama whispered. "Where's Eshika? Give the phone to her. I want to talk to her."
"Ehm… Eshika is going to the toilet. The cell phone was left on the table. We're having dinner, by the way."
I don't ask, by the way.
Tama grumbled in her heart. But, he tried to be patient. and actually it's hard for Tama. because Tama is not a patient person.
"Ehm…, you called Eshika, what's the matter? If you need it something, just tell me. I'll tell Eshika later. What is the important thing?"
"Ehm... it's not really that important." Tama snorted. "But it's almost nine o'clock tonight, Lex. What time do you want to take the girl out for a walk?"
"Oh.... Ehm.... Sorry, but we'll be back soon. I'll also take Eshika back to the house later."
Tama didn't respond. He remained silent until Alex spoke again.
"But why do you seem so concerned? Until you call Eshika."
This time Tama took a deep breath as he leaned his back on the sofa. "If something goes wrong to Eshika, her mother immediately calls me. From two hours ago, her mos has been calling me back and forth asking where her daughter is, how come she hasn't come home yet," said Tama lying. After all, Popi obviously doesn't know that Eshika hasn't come home yet. "You don't know what it's like to be terrorized by Eshika's mom? Trust me. If there's something wrong with her daughter," continued Tama, "you won't be the first to be looked for. But I. I will be interrogated by two families at once."
Unfortunately, what Tama said was honest. Of course if something bad happened to Eshika, Tama would be the first to get hit.
"Oh ..., uhm ..., sorry .... After this we went straight back."
"Okay okay.... Good boy..."
Without further ado, then Tama hung up the phone. He got up and headed for the kitchen. Open the refrigerator and examine its contents.
He seemed to think for a moment before finally turning to taking eggs and instant noodles. Two packets of instant noodles and two eggs quickly served on Tama's plate. Casually, he then went to the dining table and began to enjoy his dinner.
It evaporates.
Ehm .... Maybe after this he will go straight to sleep.

"Sorry, Lex, it's been a while."
Alex found Eshika who came and sat back in his chair after coming from the toilet. The girl pulled out her glass of juice and drank its contents.
"Tama called you."
Eshika who was intending to continue eating, stopped her intention. "Take a call?" she asked glancing at her cell phone which seemed to have changed its position.
She took the phone and checked. Sure enough. Tama contacted her a while ago.
"Ehm.... Why is he calling?" asked Eshika lazily. It was obvious that the girl was still annoyed with Tama.
Alex shrugged his shoulders slightly. "He just asked where you were and why you weren't home yet."
Unknowingly, Eshika's lips pouted at her cell phone. As if he was sneering at Tama.
"Then he also said about your Mom. She called him back and forth."
Instantly Eshika gasped. "M-my Mom contacted him?"
Alex nodded.
The nod made Eshika freeze. It felt like the blood had stopped flowing. "We have to go home now, Lex," said Eshika frantically. For the last time she sipped his juice to the toilet. Instantly she stood up and grabbed her school backpack.
Alex held Eshika's hand, trying to calm the girl down. "Don't worry, Esh. Just eat it first. Don't worry, I'll take you home. Let me explain to your mommy."
Eshika's eyes bulged.
Want to take me home?
Wow. Where is Alex going to take me home? To Tama's apartment? Oh Lord. So who do you want to explain to Alex? To Tama too?
Instantly Eshika felt horrified. And she couldn't help but curse a little at her stupidity. She shouldn't have left tonight. Although her original intention was only to teach Tama a lesson by not cooking dinner for the boy tonight, of course. She wasn't supposed to be gone until tonight. Especially still wearing school uniforms.
Truly an exemplary student!
Eshika calmed herself down by taking a deep breath. Of course Alex couldn't take her home. The image of Alex who was dazed when she saw Tama who opened the door, made her suddenly have goosebumps all over her body. So, the girl smiled and shook her head.
"Thanks, but you don't have to, Lex."
Alex looked at Eshika confusedly, also stood up. "It means?"
"Ehm ..., I can go home alone anyway," replied Eshika. "I'll just take a taxi."
Alex smiled amusedly. "What the hell? Let me take you back. After all, I asked you to leave, so I should have brought you back."
Eshika was getting confused.
"Well, later, let me explain to your mommy if I take you out for a walk. Let you not be scolded."
"Ehm… that… that…"
"It is okay. So that I can also get to know your Mami, right?"
Eshika clenched her fists at her sides. A sign that he was determined and made a decision. So, the girl smiled. Touched Alex's hand briefly and said.
"You go home, be careful. Bye."
Alex's eyes bulged. In seconds that were so fast, he saw how Eshika just ran out of the restaurant where they were eating. Leaving himself alone dumbfounded.
While Eshika, while running, tried to contact Tama.
The call is connected, but not picked up.
"Argh!" growled Eshika as he intercepted an empty taxi passing by. " Mom will definitely scold me."
