Eshika lay down on the bed. She took deep breaths and gently massaged her head. Her eyes stared blankly at the ceiling. Then, let out a long sigh.
"There can't be a dream all this time."
Eshika's eyes closed. Realizing that she can't avoid it, however, that's the reality.
But, suddenly her brain thought and realized something. She wasn't the only one who was depressed because of the marriage. It's clear how Tama was also experiencing the same thing. At least that's what Eshika caught from Tama's face all day.
She and Tama often argue and never get along, but whether they want to admit it or not, it is precisely because of this that Eshika often finds out about some of Tama's traits and behaviors. Especially when the guy is upset or angry. And Tama's face all day seemed to imply a high level of confusion.
Eshika understands. With this situation, which teenager wouldn't be confused? It's not like the clichés in Japanese comics, is it? Which character is still in high school, but already married?
Ha ha ha.
At least, in those Japanese comics, the male characters must be handsome and charming. Tama?
Ha ha ha.
Eshika's mind laughed mockingly.
His face may be handsome, but the guy is not at all charming with the playboy predicate that Eshika gave absolutely to the boy.
Sad for Tama, but true according to Eshika.
Eshika's mind wandered even more. Her mind was swayed by her own imagination. A few moments later the girl felt calmer. The fatigue in her body then turned into sleepiness in an instant. She gave up and swayed in his subconscious.
"Knock! Knock! Knock!"
A loud knock on Eshika's door suddenly made the girl open her eyes.
"Esh!"
Eshika growled.
What's up with that guy?
"Go out! We need to talk. Quick, before I break down this door to drag you out."
Eshika chuckled. "Ckckckckck. Looking around! Who is this trying to be violent here!" replied the girl as she rose from her sleep. Trying to ignore the swirling feeling in his head from waking up in shock. "Playing violence ... um, want me to report it as a case of domestic violence?" asked Eshika as she opened the door to her room. "Why? What do you want to say?"
Tama stands in front of him with a face that looks so confused. He said. "Looks like we have to compromise with each other."
Eshika gaped.
"Hah? Compromise?"
Tama nodded. "For the peace of the world."

Entering the lobby of his apartment building, Tama just smiled briefly just to appreciate the courtesy of Inayah, the receptionist. He ruffled his hair briefly as he waited for the elevator to descend and open in front of him. Enter and press the number 25 which is the floor where the unit is located.
As the elevator went up, Tama, who was alone, couldn't help but think about how she had spent that day. He was stressed and almost felt like he was going crazy any minute. He repeatedly thought that all of this was not real, but in fact it was not just a fictional drama that Mawar often watched in her spare time.
I'm really married to Eshika, God.
Tama took a deep breath. Try to calm down. Because somehow, one side of Tama's brain realized that he wasn't the only one who was nearly insane.
Flashes of Eshika's face all day flashed through his mind. From the one she froze during the flag ceremony, looking sluggish when she walked to the cafeteria even though her favorite dumplings prepared a special portion for the girl, to the tragedy when she came home from school that involved Tere there.
When the elevator stopped, Tama stepped out with one hand that she tucked into her trouser pocket. He realized, the situation between him and Eshika would not change. Then there was only one thing they needed to do.
Tama put his bag on the sofa, continued walking through his room. Stopped in front of Eshika's room. Knocked hard on the door.
"Esh!" he exclaimed then.
Eshika's growl was heard from inside. A little hoarse.
Tama said again. "Go out! We need to talk. Quick, before I break down this door to drag you out."
"Ckckckckck. Looking around! Who is this trying to be violent here!" replied the girl from inside. "Playing violence ... um, want me to report it as a case of domestic violence?" asked Eshika.
Tama frowned upon hearing that one word.
Violence? Hah?
The next second, the door opened. Showing Eshika's face and disheveled hair. "Why? What do you want to say?"
Tama glanced at Eshika. Realizing that behind her disheveled face and hair, the girl in front of her looked just as messed up as she was. Until then Tama made a decision.
"Looks like we have to compromise with each other," he said
Eshika gaped. "Hah? Compromise?" the girl asked confused.
Tama nodded. "For the peace of the world."
Eshika's forehead wrinkled for a moment. His eyes flickered as if he was digesting Tama's words.
"Compromise for world peace?
Tama nodded. "We have to talk about our lives, Esh. Like it or not. Honestly, I'm not the only one who's almost crazy here, right?"
Eshika pursed her mouth. Her index finger gently caressed his temple. Then it seemed with a heavy heart, this time she had to agree with Tama's words.
"Well, then. We have to compromise with each other. Making boundaries and other things. Don't let this relationship destroy our world."
Eshika's chest constricted as she took a deep breath. "So, what should we discuss?"
Tama's eyes stared at Eshika. "Lots."
Five minutes later, Tama and Eshika sat opposite each other at the dining table. That was no reason why they chose the dining table. Maybe because of its position near the window? To lighten the table with the sunlight that shines through the tall glass of the window? It could be. Especially since the afternoon was getting late, the sky was starting to show streaks of two orange streaks. Looks like a painting.
A piece of paper and a pen were on the table, between them.
"The first," said Tama. "We have to know each other's limits. Don't think you're staying in my unit, you're being resentful."
Eshika rolled her eyes. "The one who shouldn't be resentful is you, Tam." He sneered. Take the pen and paper. Then write a title on it.
What Not to Do.
1. Interfering with each other's affairs.
Tama glanced. He nodded. "Second?"
"Show people any kind of suspicion," said Eshika as she wrote it down on the paper. "Third?"
"Suddenly falling in love," continued Tama.
Eshika's hand wrote, but then as if she had just realized something, Eshika's hand suddenly stopped moving. He lifted his face and looked at Tama who was resting his chin in front of him.
"W-what?"
Tom looked at him. " Suddenly falling in love. Why?"
"That's exactly what I wanted to ask," said Eshika. "There needs to be that rule?"
"I need to know that you won't like me." Tama smirked. "As you can see. I'm handsome, by the way."
Eshika shook her head while grinning.
"And I don't want you to suddenly falling in love e one day."
"Why?"
Tama snorted. "If that happened, the world would turn upside down."
Eshika's eyes narrowed. "Lucky for you. I didn't think I'd suddenly falling in love, Tam."
Tama shrugged her shoulders briefly. "And take it easy. I won't suddenly falling in love either, Esh."
"Yes," Eshika fiercely said. "And that makes me calm physically and mentally." Eshika closed her mouth. "Can we continue?"
"With pleasure."
