ECHID
Lady Asemina gave him an incredulous stare. She froze up for a minute or two as she comprehends what Echid just said.
Clio's eyes flitted from Echid to Lady Asemina with her hands on her knees.
It was so silent that the only thing that could be heard was the fire crackling in the fireplace.
It did not take Lady Asemina a long time before she asked, "I believe you are mistaken."
Her eyes darted to the door as her lips smiled awkwardly. "I apologize, but I am expecting another guest soon." Her voice was wavering as well as her smile.
Echid's head nodded tightly as he controlled himself through his crossed arms.
'I knew she would refuse at first. But I still feel irritated.'
He was about to speak when Clio stood up. She put her palms together with her elbows raised wide apart.
