As Adamos expected, the place was void of luxury. There was only a table with one bed, and it was good to live in for only one person. 

Even though she was an outcast, she appeared to still be following the rules of Edin; that an exile should live as a vagabond in punishment for her wrongdoing.

She even had boiled potatoes for breakfast as its aroma filled the air.

"Spare my life, your Majesty," Friam knelt down.

It seemed like Adamos didn't need to use his powers anymore and Friam was just lying to protect herself. So he put his arms down. 

"Stand up," Adamos ordered. "I am not here to punish you. The reason that I am here in front of you is because of the Tarium, like the Duke of Thurelis said."

He thought that she would feel relieved, since it was why she opened the door and let them in.
