Reka's true name was Reagan Mcullock, a business tycoon magnet in the 1900's. He was late Winslow's nephew, who the elder wolf cared for when orphaned because Reagan's parents died in an accident which Winslow didn't disclose even to the child.
Reagan or Reka was very rich. His parents owned a shipping company that harvested oil from whales and then later found some in the wild and virgin lands of Beaumont, Texas. Reagan's parents are partners with Spindletop, the biggest exporter of oils headed by Lucic and Higgins.
Here large scale oil production happened starting with petroleum products that made Reagan filthy rich. However, he was still unhappy in spite of his wealth and parade of women on different culture, race, religion and genders, you name it he tasted them all. But one woman in particular he had fancy with was Lyka. She is an opera singer in one of the prestigious opera houses in America including the Metropolitan Opera House in New York which during those times is considered in the Landmarks Preservation Commission.

Reagan immediately lost his self seeing Lyka at the stage radiant as a true princess of Egypt. He knew that it is still forbidden to love a woman of color during these times and era, but he vowed to not let go of Lyka just because he was born white. Then he met Viktoria who changed his perception in life. He cruelly raped her which the best or let's just say sorry part of it was he didn't know she is a wolf and cursed him for eternity. She was the witch and elder wolf from the first generation of pacts of wolves. Reagan became Reka and he never saw himself again after many years until now, when Megan accepted him as Reka and the man that he really was decades ago.
Seems very twisted but Reka was still hurt until now and Megan didn't know what to say about the stuff she heard from her new wife or let's just say husband in reality.
