RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!
The figure clad in full green and black armor yelled as it tore itself up from its grave. It quickly looked around itself to ascertain where it was and realized shortly that it wasn't alone.
Wings of Blackest Night, Black robes protected by full plated armor adorned with chains and small skulls. The figure reached out its hand covered by the full plate, there was no face only the black hood that shrouded the entire facial structure. No glowing eyes of any sort.
"I am Xar Hesher!" The Figure spoke and the other one got out of his own grave.
"I know who you are, Darkest Night... Bringer of death and doom. Xar Hesher The Fallen Angel. A forgotten god that walks the mortal plane. I assume I owe my thanks to you for bringing me back?"
The Angel unfurled his wings in full glory. "I indeed brought you back, Kar Azul... First Archon of the golden cities... the one who was betrayed and killed by their own." One could almost hear the chuckle in Xar Hesher's voice.
"Brought back, to serve me... and to gain revenge on the ones that did this to you! I expended alot of my current power to bring you back, where I could have binded you to my will.. I wanted not a slave, but a leader to lead one of many dark cults." The Angel raised his arms above his head as he was talking about his grand purpose.
Kar Azul laughed at the irony. "I was just about to ask you to allow me vengeance... I remember everything now! Those bastards will all pay...." Kar Azul got down on his knee. "What is your first command my lord? Nay, my god!"
"The Shadows stir, but we are still many years from being prepared, I need the sacrifice of thousands of souls to once again become free, I am chained in a prison. Our years of work begin now." The Fallen Angel snapped his finger and several other robed figures came from the shadows and bowed to both of them. "You will rule the Dark Cult of Devia, it is by far the youngest of my cults, but with you leading them... I see my own ressurection in the future, roughly 7 years from now. You have that time to prepare for your revenge and breaking the seals that keep me out completely."
"Your revenge will need to be prepared for that time and I will be sending you an associate that is as powerful as yourself." The Fallen Angel handed Kar Azul several magical items, one of which was a communication item.
The Angel started to turn into smoke as he left Azul with all of his missions, "Oh and one last warning... currently the leader of my cults is a man named Zamadar Belketh, treat him as your leader and ally, for now...."
As the lightning crackled outside Samuel woke up from a nightmare with a heavy gasp for air. In an instant he became confused as he couldn't remember what it was about. "Mmhh what is it?" Ulma groaned next to him obviously tired. Samuel relaxed and lay back down. "Sorry, didn't mean to disturb you! It was nothing special." Ulma was too tired to notice and sighed herself back to sleep. But Samuel couldn't help but have a feeling that something was very wrong.
It was just a gut feeling that he couldn't quite put the finger on it. But it felt like shadows stirred around the room. He found himself staring at the shadows for a while longer before sleep claimed him again.
The dawn eventually came peeking over the horizon and morning brought them back awake. Ulma was tiredly walking around half asleep from bathroom to her room back to Samuel's room, changing clothes fixing her teeth and hair all while looking exhausted. They had slept pretty late the recent few days and they had gone to bed pretty early, so waking up this early was something to get used to again.
Samuel just looked at her from the bed with an amused expression. She was going back and forth while looking so tired that he couldn't help but smile. Samuel was a bit more energetic during mornings so he had none of those problems. He heard Ulma taking a shower so he snuck into the bathroom and saw that she had blocked the view.
He snuck close and used a small spirit hand cantrip spell that slowly flew into the shower and changed the water from warm to cold. "Eeeeeeh!!! SAM!!" Samuel had started laughing uncontrollably from her shrieking and she angrily yelled his name when she heard him laughing.
Samuel quickly took off his night pants and jumped in the shower that was once again steaming with warm water. Ulma probably thought he had ran away the moment she yelled his name and the laughter stopped. So she got another surprise when he suddenly hugged her from behind. But this time she didn't make a sound and just enjoyed his embrace instead as she leaned her head back on his shoulder and closed her eyes.
"You jerk..." She whispered as she stretched her arms backwards to grab him. "Well hey... I got you awake though didn't I?" He whispered in her ear making her shiver all over, while her ears became red. Samuel noticed and took the opportunity to nibble on her ear which made her moan seductively.
"Is that a wand or are you just happy to see me?" Ulma said with a chuckle from the poor joke and Samuel couldn't help but snort at the silly joke. He pulled her skintight and started biting her ears and neck slowly. Making the shower full of moans as she grinded his wand between her legs.
An hour later or so, still good on time they both came out of his room fully awake and ready to tackle the rest of the day.
"Man, you really need to get that sound enchantment on your door working again!" Sonya coiled her hand around her mouth and shouted like a spectator from the sides. Samuel laughed it off but had a small blush on his face while Ulma hid her completely red face behind him. "Yeah I guess you are right!" Samuel chuckled nervously as a response.
"Do tell me though sister! Is he good in the bed?" Sonya asked with a full grin. "Sonya, your inner dragon is showing. Let off." Erica had a slight blush on as she chewed out Sonya, whom proceeded to laugh like she was insane.
Together the four of them enjoyed a nice breakfast. Ulma sat mostly in silence still being red, but the food helped distract her mind from the embarassment. Sonya was simply too straightforward sometimes.
They all helped to clean up before grabbing their necessary belongings and heading off to their class. The first thing they noticed was the quiet in the mornings were gone because of all the newly moved in first years in the same area. There was a big increase in active people in their area and so it was probably going to remain for the rest of their stay at the college.
What was raising questions in their mind though was the fact that all the first years moved aside almost in fear whenever they walked somewhere and people were blocking the path. "Whats going on?" Sonya asked in confusion after one time too many of first years hurrying out of their way.
The walk continued and all the first years distanced themselves, being careful to get too close. "It would seem some rumors about yesterdays events must have somehow spread around the first years." Ulma sighed and shrugged when she saw her teammates looking at her wondering how she knew. "It would be the most obvious guess after all..." Her voice trailed off when she saw that none of her teammates had considered the fact and she sighed again.
Eventually they walked in a different direction from the rest and were reunited with other people from their class heading the same way. Samuel suddenly felt a happy strong tap on his shoulder. "Hehe! Good job! Samuel, Slayer of First years!" One of his classmates laughed and a few more of them tapped him on the shoulder as they passed him.
Much to their surprise he didn't react, he simply shrugged and felt his teammates staring at him. "Oh come on, you know the full story!" He couldn't help but smile much to everyones surprise. Including the person from his own class that had tried to bully him last year, who failed to notice the pond he tripped into.
The rigid and angry looking Samuel was no longer looking angry, but happy instead. Unbeknownst to everyone but Samuel he had a nickname among his class that had spread to many in the second year. Samuel The Grumpy Faced Monster. At first his classmates had not realized it was Samuel because he looked like a new person, but unmistakenably when one got close enough it was definitely the same person.
People were interested but too scared to find out more as Samuel had always glared angrily at anyone asking him questions, even teachers and assistants were thrown off by his face. He had looked like the most evil delinquent that had the power to back it up.
Only a few knew the truth about him being a kind hardworking person. But now finally he also looked the part to play it. The reunion day had been to distracting for anyone to properly look upon him, they had all only guessed. But now the second day they actually did pay closer attention.
Samuel started getting annoyed at all the people talking to him or simply staying away from him but always staring at him like he was some kind of rare animal that he almost regained some of his previous glare. But every time he was regaining it Ulma gave him a poke or a kiss on the cheek which snapped him out of it and made him return to the happy smiles.
They finally arrived at class and with the rest of their own class they took their regular seats, the people throwing glances at Samuel did not stop however. But he quickly learned to ignore it.
