Synopsis

An Eternal World

They called it Mana.

The deciding factor that held together this world, and every other world.

Invisible and untouchable. Was it created by the gods or did it come into existence before they did.

One world among many The Eternal Emterian World, where gods and devils and creatures of otherwordly origin all share their place.

It surely isn't the only place like it in the many universes out there, but it is the world where we set our feet. Walk the soil and feel the dirt, rock, call it what you may.

They say the sides are divided into good and evil, but that couldn't be farther from the truth. There are many evil forces that wish for the world to end after all. While there are many good forces that take things too far.

So to call them good and evil would be wrong.

There are forces of good out there and there are many forces of evil. But the better term for them would be the Seekers of Order and the Seekers of Chaos.

Both come in many different shapes and forms, not all have the same depiction of the right path. Then there are of course those that rely on the balance.

But at the end of it all, it comes down to Mana.

The very living essence of all things.

Over time many races came to learn how to bend it to their own will. Learning to use what we call magic, the basic elements of; Fire, Air, Water & Earth. Which were used to create most things if you believe in the teachings of the gods.

I can't even begin to complain to you how many different gods there are out there, I cannot even begin to tell you how many different races of creatures there are out there either.

That is something you will haveto discover for yourself!

Who created Mana in the first place? Just how far does the universe go? Why does our mortal realm act as a waypoint for all other planes? Why is there a unique race out there able to bind Mana like a natural part of their body?

As a scholar and astronomer I can't tell you any of these answers. Because the full truth behind any of them have never been found.

But I can tell you a story... a legend from thousands of years ago!
