CHAPTER EIGHTEEN
The next day, Tanya woke up late on purpose to see what King, the impostor, would do. He didn't act as though he was King, anytime she woke up late, King would clean the house and bring her breakfast sometimes in bed.
Her father laid on a small bed she had opened for him the previous night as he still remained in his cat figure. She woke up and went to see where he was only to find him smoking in the corridor.
"What is that in your hand?" She asked him, on sighting the cigarette.
"Is that how to say good morning? Or have you lost your manners?" He asked, without even turning to look at her.
"I'm sorry, good morning." She greeted after eyeing him.
"Where's my food?" He asked her.
"I'm just waking up." She replied nonchalantly.
"And what's that supposed to mean?" He asked her, turning to face her.
"What I mean by that is that there is no food in the house." She counted her words as she replied him.
