She remembered she didn't have the chance to tell Thane about what Zena had told her. She sighed, then wrapped her arms around his one arm.
"Zena told me that I was not a full-blooded demon. She said my father took me in because my mother got pregnant with another man."
Thane was surprised. "But aren't demons allowed to do that?"
"If you are the Queen, you're allowed to sleep with different men, but you could only have a child with the King. For us, the Demon King holds the highest power after Orcus. He would not allow his Queen to bear a child with another creature because it would ruin the balance between realms."
"So, you're really that baby?" He asked.
