She was awakened by the warm light brushing through her skin. She slowly opened her eyes, and then flinched because the sun's brightness was blinding.
Her head throbbed from pain when she forced herself to sit on the bed. She looked around and realized she was in their bedroom.
She knew she fainted when the amulet consumed her energy after talking to Zuriel, and the last thing she saw was Thane's face.

Thane was on the couch, drinking some wine. Elisia frowned, trying to see if he found something about her conversation with Zuriel.
