It's already been four months since the war started, I finally turned 10 years old biologically, although I didn't look like it at all. My charisma started to increase much faster than before as my body was forming more mature features — The improvement and continuous growth of my body accelerated the process greatly, my cells were dividing faster after all.
Because each generation of cells had fewer errors than they would regularly, my life expectancy did not decrease, quite the opposite in fact as it increased slightly, even reducing the risk of cancers.
Leaving my body aside, the situation in Frieza's army had.... "stabilized."
By "stabilized" I mean that newly formed large groups, factions of the old army with powerful members had conquered and delimited their territories, lone people on the other hand just died, were enslaved or were forced to join other factions.
Some factions and advanced civilizations started to sponsor some of the ones here in secret, trying to make profits and territories. If they did it in broad daylight or were discovered their credibility would disappear pretty fast.... Although that's the least of it, the only important thing was that Freezer wouldn't destroy them.
Speaking of Frieza, he himself kept together several people who were high in rank, like Zarbon, and some who were loyal to him, he tried to keep as much territory as he could, however his attempts were mostly in vain, Cooler sent many of his ships taking over some planets and even secretly allying with some factions to wipe out Frieza's ships.
In just a few days Frieza had become the laughingstock of the entire universe, even though no one said so out loud.
The old army occupied many galaxies, millions fell short, after all, the visible universe that so terrified and made people doubt themselves here could only accommodate a few thousand top-tier factions and civilizations.
The size of this universe was indeed terrifying.... This alone was so big and yet there were 11 more universes.... To think that one day all of that will belong to me!
Currently, I had been able to keep a group of galaxies, there were 8 of them. How could I keep track all of this? Easy... Well, it's not easy, but its figurative speech....
Only the central galaxies of the army would have many planets or colonized systems, most of these are just planets without inhabitants or cities, they would only be used to collect their materials or some to create factories, therefore despite having billions of star systems in a single galaxy the number of planets to capture was much smaller.
However, it was true that all this territory was too much to manage, it would be easy for anyone to infiltrate and make a sneak attack, so momentarily all the structures were built around some central places of the 8 galaxies, the Calar civilization provided several detectors that surrounded the parts I mentioned before, we were currently in the process of placing some on the outside of each galaxy, but that process would take a long time if the technology of Calar did not increase.
For the moment it was enough, I could detect any piloted ship in this place perfectly, and remotely piloted ships would not be able to enter the important places because of the detectors.
Needless to say I had gained a lot of planets to pull resources from, and without hesitation that's what I started to do, after all this place is only temporary, the moment major civilizations or maybe either Frieza or Cooler themselves come I won't be able to do anything, it was possible that it wouldn't happen soon, but still, I didn't plan to create a civilization here, for me, it was more profitable to loot this whole place.
Although... I might change my mind if a few things happen....
Leaving that aside, the Calar civilization advanced rapidly without pause, spreading to several nearby systems, the government began to reward families who had children, the more they had, the more they were rewarded.
Even though Calar was self-sufficient in materials and resources, it still had some flaws in everything we were doing, and all of us superiors knew it, at the moment we could only implement all this because most civilians were only in preparations to work, there wasn't that much to pay, but by the time the students come out....
I had already explained to them at the time how we would solve that problem, and we had been preparing it for months.
A star system completely prepared for trade, lots and lots of materials, technology, among many other things.
Calar had in his database many contacts, among them those of several important people from several smaller civilizations.
These were civilizations that didn't have excess planets and therefore resources, it was difficult to expand as a "new" civilization, after all many places were already occupied, a civilization would not normally move away from its birthplace, as many major civilizations would sabotage or even annex them in exchange for technological advancement, if they tried to travel elsewhere, which many civilizations were unwilling to do, they would be intercepted or get all of their military branches quickly neutralized.
No civilization wanted a potentially dangerous new neighbor, so these upstart civilizations had little to do in the face of their elders.
The case of Calar was a big exception, no one would let an advanced civilization migrate, but since Cooler had completely closed its zone everyone else had decided to look the other way, only a fool who wanted to antagonize Cooler would interfere, after all it'd just be another destroyed system.
All this and some of the anti-radar technology made it possible for everyone to escape, things would have been different if they were actively searched for, but as I said, that was not the case.
With those desperate civilizations it was easy to sell materials, many of these civilizations had to survive by coming together in groups, and therefore it was a big increase in business.... I knew for a fact that some were plotting to resell the materials at a higher price than his group, but as part of the contract I would have to attend a meeting with the public group.
At the moment no one had broken this rule, after all they saw it as reasonable. Besides, the large amount of fleets and materials warned them that we weren't playing around.
I have to say that the numerous soldiers under Dodoria's command were a great help in the whole plan. Him, being Frieza's right-hand man, had lots of troops under his command — Some escaped, but others were tempted by the protection and the possibility of increasing their strength thanks to me, after that there were a few million troops left.
If it wasn't for the library in my mental palace being connected to the system.... I probably would have suffered from brain death or my brain would have run out of space to store all the information of each of them....
Well, it's a good time to go see the Galactic Patrol.... So I can complete some things and check others.
While I was touching some buttons on my ship, I detected how someone was entering the group of galaxies that is in my territory.
Baël: "Zak, does the Ki match anyone we know? Their power is too high to be one of ours, but I think I've felt it before."
Zak spoke after a few moments, he seemed to be checking something.
Zak:"... I've only found one Ki that matches his, but.... It surely can't be...?"
Zak was thoughtful for a few moments before speaking again, leaving behind his state of.... Curiosity? He sounded like a self-absorbed scientist creating theories after discovering something interesting.
Zak: "Come on, what are you waiting for? Go closer! Do I have to tell you everything?"
I sighed as I touched other buttons, changing the coordinates where the ship was headed.
The closer the ship got, the more I could notice the evil behind that Ki, it had about 6,000 units of power.... It can't be...
Baël: "Did he... come back to life...?"
Zak: "Most likely... There's no chance he survived, I made sure to keep an eye on that, so there's little chance. Either there's some artifact capable of not letting your soul go with the Underworld Manager Yemma, transport your soul elsewhere and create your body preserving your strength.... Or they have used the Dragon Balls".
Baël:"... The Dragon Balls... Is it possible that that one over there is Goku for some reason?"
Zak: "Do you think I'm a wiki, you asswagon?!"
I rolled my eyes mentally.
Baël: "Maybe another Saiyan was saved instead of Goku, or pure chance made him not physically resemble what we saw in the anime. Did some things change, like the blow on his head that made him forget his Saiyan features?"
Zak: "It's possible... But in that case there shouldn't be anyone who used the Dragon Balls.... In his introductory speech he introduced himself as 'Emperor'..."
Baël: "Then he has at least one conquered civilization... But... That's not something too common in the saiyans, besides, he knew perfectly well about the destruction of Planet Vegeta.... And evidently we both know that Goku shouldn't be so grown up."
Zak: "Maybe we're looking in the wrong direction.... Never mind, for the moment find out what the hell's going on with that saiyan, we don't have the information we need to come to a conclusion."
Well... Killiath is back with a similar power, it's clear that he's planning something.... He may just be a fighting madman, but I doubt it.... I made it very clear, even if he fights me he will only get a beating before he can see complex techniques and how he can improve.
I'm sure Zak has already thought the above, but with my current power level and the toughness of my body few things can hurt me, if he decides to destroy my ship I can always use my armor, however there must be a reason for his confidence....
Finally, the ship stopped at a great distance from the planet where I noticed the Ki, this distance would be enough so that it could not hit me with some high level technological weapon, I immediately pressed a button sending a communication request.
After a few seconds the request was accepted, the 3D hologram showed Killiath with a strange expression.
Killiath:"... Do you have cameras up your ass or something...?"
If it wasn't for all my training and [Gamer's Mind] my composure would have completely broken at this point.... Though inside my mind it did.
What kind of Saiyan would pull a prank like that on the person who humiliated him? Let alone someone so evil who conquers civilizations and probably makes them his slaves.
My voice sounded cold while my face was shadowed.
Baël: "What are you doing here, how are you still alive?"
Killiath: "Isn't it obvious? I'm coming to destroy you! I allow myself to be defeated by a nobody with only about 10,000 power level! You used a strange technique, you bastard!"
I see... Was he so confident because he knew my power? Maybe he thinks that with some weapon he can kill me? Although... A Saiyan who can see power levels?! I'm sure he didn't have any device to measure it....
I simply cut the communication, went out into space with my armor already on and approached the planet using some thrusters the suit brought.
It didn't take me long to get there, when I looked at the atmosphere in detail I could see a strange figure floating in the atmosphere.
It was very large, probably a few kilometers long, high and wide, some levitation thrusters kept it floating.
That was... A satellite cannon...? I guess it's something that could take out a lot of people.... It could probably take me out in a few shots.... But my helmet could easily detect the cannon, ignoring the camouflage, after all Zak was processing information from viewing ranges that I couldn't, even looking at thermal cameras.
A light gathered on my finger before it shot out, it flew for millions of kilometers before it went through the cannon, a huge explosion came out of it as it fell to the planet....
Already...? That... Was that all...? Well... Disappointing...
I carefully descended to the planet, looking down upon Killiath.
I was quickly a few dozen meters above him, Killiath was trembling in fear.
Killiath: "H-H-How! That's cutting edge technology!"
... Yeah right, for cavemen maybe...
Baël: "Don't make me repeat myself... Tell me how you got back!"
My commanding voice rang out, lights were beginning to appear on my fingers.
Killiath: "N-Never! I-I won't!"
He's afraid... Maybe he could only revive once, or the second time requires a lot of time or resources? It makes sense, it's not easy to get artifacts such as those.
A ray came out of my index finger, it split in two going through his thighs.
Killiath fell to the ground with a groan, but still not showing much pain.... Looks like he still has some of his sense of touch, interesting.
Killiath: "I-I can't tell you.... I can't..."
Will he be compelled for some reason? Hm....
More lasers shot out as they pierced parts of his arm and legs, the lightning cauterizing the wound preventing him from bleeding out.
Baël: "Speak up, you scum!"
Killiath: "I CAN'T! P-Please don't kill me!"
Tears appeared at the rim of his eyes....
I slowly walked down to where Killiath was, I prepared to start hitting him, I may not be going to kill him with the lasers, but this way he will be more scared, and I can knock him unconscious if need be, after all the situation isn't as precarious as it was.
I prepared myself in case he made a move but.... I ruled out long ago that he has regeneration, his body was completely disintegrated, not even drops of blood were left and neither did I detect his Ki.
A blow flew towards his face, this time I knew the hardness of his body. I won't make the mistake I made last time....
Killiath: "Agh! S-Stop please! If I tell you we'll get in trouble-!"
More kicks hit him in the chest and face, but I didn't let him fly away.
Suddenly the sound of the groundbreaking rang out, Killiath's body shot out towards me as a black object manifested in his hand.
All my senses screamed.
Zak: "GET OUT OF THERE!"
Those words echoed in my mind, everything seemed to slow down, the black blur in Killiath's hand began to emanate a black mist in my direction, but I couldn't move....
The mist caused my vision to darken as the blur approached my side, it was an excellent attack.... I was supposed to be able to dodge it only with my great speed but.... That object wouldn't allow me to do so....
When the object touched my body I felt a great dizziness, my vision turned completely black....
(Killiath's POV)
Baël disappeared the moment the black dagger touched his side.
Ugh, finally... Holy shit, how fucking disgusting! Having to put on a performance like that... And there's not even anyone to applaud me!
Bah... Well... I hope you appreciate my great acting skills, you asshole.
I looked at the dagger while referring to Baël, I did some tricks with it fiddling around.
No one's supposed to be able to survive this....
