The soil and grass were softer where he landed, but it still did not lessen the pain from his side hitting the ground.

'I am being treated like a sack of potatoes.'

He wanted to laugh at the absurd situation he was in.

'If they were gonna kill me they would have, but that doesn't mean they are gonna treat me nicely.'

Kilian had an inkling of who had hired these men, and he laid there with his limbs tied while smelling the food that had started to spread its fragrant cooked smell.

His stomach growled, and he had to relieve himself. He licked his tongue tasting dried blood on his lip, and tried to concentrate on what he should do.

His eyes were covered, and even if he could feel the energy around him from his surroundings, he had no way to utilize it in his favor.

Usually, he would have to look at the subject he wanted to manipulate, but his world right now was dark under the cloth.

"Hey is that scrawny kid still alive?"

Kilian held his breath listening for the direction of the voice.

He had never felt this vulnerable. Even the cave with the harpies had given him the freedom to move if needed.

A hand grabbed him by the neck lifting him up to sit, and his head pushed backward while a presence came close.

"Would you look at this face, are you sure we didn't abduct a girl?"

The words were mocking and the tight grasp on his neck felt tighter, til Kilian opened his mouth gasping out loud for air.

The voice turned into a whisper that was too closer to his ear than he would like.

"Not that I mind it either way."

Something wet touched his cheek again, and Kilian's body froze.

'Is…Is he licking me?'

It was dark and his senses were clouded by panic, yet he still clenched his teeth using the little strength he had to force his head forward, his forehead hitting something hard.

"Argh!" The man yelled from pain, and the grip on his throat disappeared.

Kilian fell with his back against the ground, and something big held him down, til his body felt crushed under the weight.

"You still have a fight in you, huh?"

The tone was filled with anger and Kilian tried to wiggle free, unable to barely move at all.

'Shit, I shouldn't have provoked him.'

He knew he had been stupid, but he was annoyed at the constant struggle with these kinds of people, they were never-ending.

He regretted not having taken care of the Count when they had been at the Heathgrave residence to get his mother.

It hadn't been time he kept telling himself, feeling like it had been too easy at the time, and wanted to make them slowly suffer more.

The blindfold was ripped off his eyes, and the light from a fire nearby was the only source for him to see what was around.

A man in leather armor was on top of him, holding him down, and the crazy look in his dark eyes was alarming.

Kilian tried to focus on the man whose face was in the shadows of the light, and he couldn't make out any distinct features.

The energy from his surroundings slowly filled his insides, and Kilian breathed in to calm himself.

He looked up again, wanting to push this man off him.

The man that was now reaching down between his legs with a dagger, cutting the ties of his feet.

Nothing happened, and Kilian was slowly starting to panic again.

His power was not working.

'Is it because I can't see well?'

His mind started thinking as to why he couldn't easily push this guy off him, and the reality hit him hard, as now having untied Kilian's legs, the man had his attention back on Kilian's face.

"We were told to take good care of you, it seems one of the young men from the family, wants us to teach you some things since you have come of age. He was very specific as to how"

Kilian tried to knee the man in the stomach and rolled over to try and get on his feet.

"You really don't know what situation you are in, it would be better if you were a bit…nicer."

Big hands grabbed Kilian by the ankle dragging him back over the coarse ground, the small pebbles and stones finding their way up under Kilian's shirt.

The hands moved up Kilian's legs til they reached the knees, spreading them apart easily.

Kilian clenched his teeth knowing what was gonna happen, but he could see no way out of it.

The man took out the knife that had cut the ties at the legs, to let Kilian see the shining metal in the dim light.

"Just lay still, it will hurt less that way. We all get a turn."

Kilian fought with the last of his strength but to the man, it was nothing more than some wiggling, and during the struggle, the knife had cut open Kilian's shirt, letting him feel the cold air hit his skin.

"Wow, nobles sure are different. Hey, you guys will like this."

There was a whistle and a few more of the mercenaries came closer to look down at Kilian on the ground illuminated by the warm light of the fire.

The man pressed down between Kilian's spread legs, and a long finger was touching his exposed skin.

"Get off me!"

Kilian finally yelled out, he no longer cared about angering these people, he was not gonna let them do whatever they wanted easily.

'If I can just get closer to the fire so I can see them better.'

His powers weren't working in the dark, it was the same as if he was blind. If he could only see them, then he could find a way to use his power to try and escape.

"Shit, you are so smooth."

The hand was moving up his abdomen to his chest, and Kilian squirmed in the hold. His hands were still tied, pushed up over his head.

Then he felt it, as the man pressed in between Kilian's legs.

'He is hard!'

He could feel the man's erection pressing at his ass, only the pants between them, and the heavy breath of this oaf was getting heavier.
