CHAPTER 105 - OUR FATE TO STAY THE NIGHT
I have never sweated out this intensely in my entire life.
Here I am, being asked by the woman I love to spend the night together with me. I know it's already late, and I don't need to worry about curfews. I'm pretty sure that one text is all that it takes, and my parents would approve of me sleeping under the same roof with Raynevere.
It's not like this is the first time we're going to stay the night anyways, so I shouldn't be freaking out like this. However, this time is different. We are now lovers, and we are betrothed to one another. We will end up marrying each other in the future anyway, so we might as well start right now.
"O-Okay." I nodded nervously. This is the first time I ever broke my shell and stopped being a wuss.
"That's great!" Raynevere clapped and hopped happily. Then she opened the glass door of her balcony and switched the lights on. "Come on in!"
I nervously stepped into the condo unit's living room, then watched Raynevere's every movement. She went to her kitchen, opened a cabinet, and then popped open a bottle of red wine. She poured the liquor into those classic wine glasses with clear ice cubes.
She happily approached me with wine glasses in her hand and then gave one to me. She laid the other one on the glass table in the living room.
Raynevere snapped her finger, and then the music Careless Whisper started to play from her living room speakers. This is one high-tech condo unit!
"Perfect!" Raynevere said. "Now this will relax the mood!"
My girlfriend's intentions are oozing right out of her nose. I'm not complaining, but she can be easy to read once she's this aggressive and desperate.
"This is for our successful first date as lovers! Cheers!" Raynevere raised her wine glass.
"C-Cheers!"
The soft clinking sound of our toast made a refreshing thought in my mind. I think I have to release the tension inside me and just relax. So I followed Raynevere's lead as we both gulped some wine. I also settled down on her soft cozy sofa.
I never liked wine. They scratch the surface of my throat, and they taste bitter. But for some reason, Raynevere's wine is somewhat sweet and smooth. I kind of enjoyed it, so I ended up halving the glass in one gulp.
Soon, I noticed that Raynevere scooted over near me. We bumped shoulders and elbows, and her soft skin triggered electricity in my nerves.
"Hey, Zane. I have a selfish request. Just tell me if you are against the idea." Raynevere blushed.
"What is it?" I asked.
"I have been all alone in this condominium for months already, and having you in this place to stay the night brightens up this gloomy atmosphere of the evening." Raynevere scratched her cheeks. "Y-Yeah, I know it's just been ten minutes that you're here, but I'm already happy."
"I'm happy too. Just so you know, I feel alone in my house even though I live with my family. I always feel out of place, but I think I don't feel that way when I'm with you." I said. "I think our brains sync to some degree, and you know all about my inner turmoils."
"It's just that we're meant to be!" Raynevere smiled. She laid her wine glass on the table, hugged my arms, and snuggled. I can even hear her sniff my clothes.
I felt like she just left our conversation hanging and just moved on to have some snuggles, so I had to remind her.
"Um, Rayne? What is this selfish request you're talking about?"
"Is it okay for me to kiss you again?" Raynevere muffled her voice, her face flustered. She is trying to combat her shyness.
"S-Sure." I tried to act casually with my answer but I still stuttered.
Raynevere then pressed her face forward and then smacked my lips with hers. Her sweet kiss is the same as ever, soft and moist.
"I'm sorry if I surprised you with that confession and kiss during the corporation's inauguration. I just don't know how to find the right time and place, and my feelings got the best of me during that night. I've never tried confessing my feelings before so I just went with whatever Master Siferas advised to me. Anyway, I ended up giving a surprise kiss to you, so I felt like I forced you, kinda."
"N-No, it's fine! I really love it!" I cried.
"Really, huh?" Raynevere pouted, trying to act cute.
Unable to resist the urge, I pressed my face towards her and kissed her lips. This time, I forced my tongue inside and made some twists. Raynevere also followed, our tongues clashed like swords and danced like waltzers.
Raynevere pulled out first, our saliva intertwining and connected like pizza cheese. Her face is now entirely red, and her purple eyes are twinkling like the milky way. I gently caressed her hair and softly bumped her foreheads.
"I love you, Rayne," I whispered.
"I love you too, Zane. I never thought that you were a wild person." Raynevere chuckled.
"It's your fault for turning me on," I said as I grabbed her wrists, pinned her down on the long sofa, and started feasting on her neck.
I got overwhelmed by my desire that my body now moves on instinct. And now, Raynevere's shrieks and moans engulfed the whole condominium unit as we spent our night together as lovers.
