Emily realized what she said and then she left what she was doing to hug to Doris. Doris welcomed her as she hugged her back.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to mention her" Emily said lowly and Doris cried. Her mother was gone!
"It's okay. It's not your fault. I just miss her" Dois sniffed as she tightened the hug.
"Stop crying." Emily withdrew from the hug as she cleaned her tears.
"Thanks" Doris said asked she hiccuped.
Emily gave her a leaf while she held one herself too.
"What's this?" Doris asked.
"It's a leaf" Emily said and Doris stared.
"Don't worry bout your mom. She's having a proper rest. Your mermaid Mother, made sure she was buried and not eaten by the birds" Emily informed.
"What? She did that? She gave my mom a proper burial?" Doris asked and Doris nodded.
"So, you mean, I can see my mother's grave" Doris asked and Emily nodded.
"Yes but you need your mother's permission. She made her grave in a safe place that is restricted from entry. Anyone who goes there will die but if she's informed, your life would be spared. You see, Queen Jessica isn't bad. She cares for you too" Emily said and Doris hummed.
"I'm glad she did that. I can't wait to pay my mom a visit" Doris smiled and Emily grinned.
"You can also see your mom for the last time and speak with her and tell her everything you want her to know. You can spend a day together" Emily said and Doris was stunned. She blinked in mystification.
"What?"
"Queen Jessica can do all of that just to see your smile. Only what she requests is that, you should love her like you loved your Vampire mother. Will you be able to that?"
"If it's to see my mom and spend a day with her, I will do anything" Doris said firmly and Emily smiled.
"Don't worry about Kai. I will make him busy on that day you finally want to meet her. I will make your absence unknown" Emily assured and her and Doris hugged her.
"I'm happy that I have you and M..mom. I will try my best" Doris assured and Emily felt relieved.
Meanwhile, Jessica was smiling and crying bitterly under the ocean. She couldn't help but get jealous of Leticia. She taught and treated her daughter well. Doris loved Leticia, there was no doubt about that and Jessica couldn't help but get overwhelmed with tears. Leticia took her place as she was a better mother. Jessica is now in doubt if Doris would ever love her but she could only try even if it was almost impossible.
"Let's start before your husband starts looking for him" Emily said and Doris took a look at the leaf on her palm.
"Your blood can save a dying person. Your blood can break a curse and your blood can attract evil creatures to you" Emily started.
"The only way to stop people from noticing you, is to take a leave and wish for something to change your scent. What do i smell like?" Emily asked and Doris blinked.
"Ehh...." Doris drew air into her nostril as then she breathed out.
"Honey?" She said and Emily scoffed.
"Well... honey because I love bees" She smirked and Doris mouth was opened
"Bees?"
"I love it with they sting me...it makes me fall in love" Emily giggled.
"Now scent me" Emily said and Doris tried smelling her but the odour was bad. It didn't need to be smelt because the odour was damn disgusting.
"Eww...what's that?" Doris covered her nose. Emily raised a brow. Emily smelled herself and then, she realized how bad she smelled but she still giggled.
"I smell nice, ain't I?" She asked and Doris frowned moving farther away from here.
"How is a rotten fish a good scent?" Doris said curtly and then Emily changed her scent.
"Come and scent me. Don't worry I think this isn't bad" Emily urged her and Doris heaved a sigh but she was still unsure to go closer to Emily.
