Days and Nights passed by, Doris was getting along with Melissa. The lost relationship was getting back to normal and Kai was glad to see the change. They were more close than before and they spent most times together with Amy. Amy, although, knew what Melissa was planning but in other not to be suspicious, she had to abide in. She didn't want to create problems between the both of them. Amy was specially taking her practice with Doris seriously. Knowing that Elisa was out there, they grew more mighty troops and every one was going to participate. Leon, in the other hand, he was sent to the Vampire land to take care of things there. Every one was given different jobs.
"Phew... Longest time" Doris got startled to see Emily on her bed. The girl proudly crossed her legs, drinking her juice.
Doris actually thought she got annoyed with their last chat and now she's here after many days.
"Where have you been?" Doris asked. Emily grinned as she uncrossed her legs and dropped the glass of juice on the small stool.
"I've been searching for ways to deal with someone like you for what you said last time" She smirked and Doris raised a brow at her. Doris, initially knew that the matter wasn't over
"And what did you come up with?" Doris asked and Emily scoffed
"It's better you don't know unless you will hate me" She said lowly and Doris grinned.
"And what makes you think that I like you?" This girl was really good, Emily frowned.
"I hate you too" She looked sad and Doris chuckled. Doris went forward and gave her a hug.
"I don't hate you" She said and Emily was dumbfounded. Was she sad about what she said? Who the hell was this girl! She never cared, right?
"Ugh... whatever" Emily rolled her eyes and Doris withdrew from the hug.
"What brings you here?" Doris asked and Emily's gaze shifted to her.
"Come" She held Doris arm and they found themselves in another environment. Doris was stunned and then she threw a questioning look at Emily. Emily tilted her head as she uttered
"I didn't kidnap you and don't worry, you'd be going back to meet your lover" Emily said as she threw a sword at Doris. Doris picked it up as she removed it from it's shield. It was a sword with strange symbols on it and the silver was shinny as the sun set on it. It looked beautiful.
"That's a mermaid sword. " Emily stated and Doris gaze flew to her.
"That's your sword and nobody should use it" Emily warned and Doris looked confused.
"Why?" Doris asked curiously
"Because it's a mermaid sword and not any random sword. I got for you because you are special and because it will help you in the war happening in this land." Emily said and Doris' eyes widened as she gaped while looking at the sword.
"Will you join us in the war?" Doris asked and Emily gulped. She was stunned by her question. This girl was way too unbelievable. What's her business with the war? Was any of her family member here? Of course, her silly sister 'Doris'. Holy shit! Still she wouldn't join in the war not when a forbidden magic is involved.
"No!" She simply said and Doris head was turned down.
"Please" She begged and Emily couldn't feel her body. Why was she begging?
"Look, Doris. Don't be childish. Why the hell are you begging? I don't belong here" Emily said trying to explain to her but the next thing she heard made her frown.
"Say Yes. She isn't happy. Do it for your Junior sister" Jessica spoke telepathically to her and Emily grumbled. Perhaps, this was one punishment of having Siblings.
"Fine! I'll help" She said hesitantly and Doris got excited. Doris was willing to do anything to make Melissa like her more. She wanted their relationship to work out just well.
"Thanks" Doris smiled while Emily frowned trying to forget what was going on within her.
"I brought you here for a reason" Emily stated the point why she was brought here.
"Huh?"
"I brought you here because I want us to spar and Secondly, to teach you how to use your powers. You know, the witches and Vampires will be using their extraordinary powers so, you don't have to be an exception. Don't worry it's easy but dangerous" Emily said as she brought out her sword.
"Thanks but can you predict who will win this war?" Doris was curious. They have been preparing but Elisa hasn't shown herself. She might come unexpected. Their days were being numbered
Emily sighed.
"Elisa isn't after you. She's after your husband and his mother." Emily said and Doris frowned. What? Her husband?
"What? Why kai?" She asked. Kai never wronged her and besides, they haven't met.
"Lincoln has join hands with her and mind you, Lincoln isn't just an ordinary Vampire now, he is reincarnated as a demon slayer." Doris was shocked as her hands trembled in fear.
"What?" She said speaking more to herself but Emily heard her.
"So, you mean that Elisa would win this war?" Doris instantly asked as her eyes widened waiting to hear a bad answer.
Emily shooked her head in disappointment.
"She will win this war but something would be sacrificed for her death" Emily said and Doris was confused.
"The person that can kill her is either Your Mom, You or Melissa" Emily ended.
"Me, my mom?" She repeated in a questioning tone.
"Yes. Don't bother but she will be dead" Emily tried to cheer her up.
"How do you know about this and what will be sacrificed?"
"I'm a mermaid so I know some things. I've been on both Vampire and human land searching for you since your birth, so I know more about them" She said and Doris looked sad. So, they actually looked for her. She wasn't abandoned but how did she end up with them? Did her father cheat in her mother?
"Come to me to find answers" Jessica spoke in her head and Doris clenched her fist.
"I wish I could but I can't" Doris said trying to sound calm.
"I won't force you but you won't blame me when you find yourself here very soon" Jessica said
"I'm sorry and I wish things changed for the better"
"It will. I'm always here to welcome you"
