Emily stepped out of the ocean as she teleported herself to the palace. She didn't know what exactly she was planning to do but she had the plan to spy on them and before that, she wanted to see how Doris was doing. She was the only sensitive one to sense her presence while the others were just bunch of fools. Emily smirked.
"I never thought you would come back" Doris came out of the bathroom and surprising she met Emily sitting on her bed
"Yeh! Yeh! Am back! Are you happy to see me?" Emily said curtly and Doris frowned. She knew something was off.
"Nothing is off. You have a mother that you don't even care about" Now, she wanted to take out her anger on Doris but deep down, she knew she was making the wrong choice. This girl could behead her so easily.
" And?" Doris retorted making Emily to stand on her with her fist clenched as her eyes glinted with hatred and Disgust.
"Put Queen Jessica in your shoes, You did something forbidden and you were cursed never to have contact with youey destined child. After many trials of breaking the curse, you spent years looking for your child and now you found her and she doesn't want to be with you. What will happen to you? How will you feel if your child doesn't call you a mother? How will you feel if the child you suffered giving birth too doesn't want to see your face or she even believes that you aren't her mother? Tell me!! I know she did wrong but no one can change your fate. Perhaps, that was where are fate leaded her too but she carves to hug you and feel you in her arms. Is that too much?" Emily couldn't hold her tears. She has been there during those years of Jessica's punishment. She even suffered because of it.
"I'm sorry" Doris said surprising her.
"My apologies to her too. It must have not been easy but it's also hard for me. I just lost the woman I believed to be my mother since childbirth. It's too much for me to think about" Doris gave her own side of the story but Emily was becoming more frustrated.
"Take you time!" Emily said curtly.
"Are you still staying here?"
"Why? I'm I irritating you or do you want to fuck your husband tonight? Don't worry, I won't look. I have something more important to do" Emily smirked and Doris cheek turned red. How could she say those words freely?
"Are you engaged?" Emily instantly turned to her. She wanted to say something but she changed her mind about it.
"No"
"Hmm. You are too pretty to be left alone. I can show to..." Emily bit her off.
"I'm not interested. Men makes you weak. I can see it from you and I don't want to be foolish" She retorted and Doris frowned.
"Are you saying that I'm foolish? You won't know how it feel except you experience it" Doris tried convincing her but she was a mermaid. A terrible one indeed.
"Save your sermon for next time! Infact there is no next time! I'm not you and you can't be me. Love made you what you are but Love will destroy me. I will forever be happy to die as a spinster serving your mother. She's the best and the one I can love" Doris became numb.
"You are close to her, aren't you?"
"We are close. She's my mom" Emily said and then she vanished.
"You are not bad at all, Mom" She whispered silently and Jessica felt something drop within her. Emily did it!!! She was free!! Doris said it!!
