Melissa had her secret plan that she wasn't willing to expose to anyone not even her son. She was willing to do anything and everything thing to make sure that Elisa doesn't get her hands on the throne. Unlike Elisa, Melissa also has the motive to make herself the most powerful queen and to also break the curse placed on her.
Busy with her hypothesis, the results was clear on the crystal ball and Melissa's eyes widened. She couldn't believe what she was seeing. Her eyes suddenly glimmered with red lights as she dashed out of her room.
"I never thought you would bring her back" She stopped Kai and Doris from entering further into the palace. Kai smiled as he stare at him mother but obviously to Melissa, this wasn't a smiling matter with her facial expression.
"You never thought but I did. I will take her for whatever she is. If you don't want us then I'll leave your Kingdom" Kai's words were like a bomb to her. She couldn't let him go. Never and not with this mermaid.
Melissa forced a smile. She went closer to Doris.
"I'm sorry for the way I treated you earlier. I'm just pissed off" Melissa hugged Doris buy secretly she parted Doris long brown hair at the back. Her eyes widened with what she saw.
Doris felt something and then she pulled from the hug.
"Are you alright?" She asked Melissa ignoring her pain. Melissa hasn't still regained herself from what she saw. Doris felt like something was opened behind her. Although, Melissa didn't hurt her but where she touched felt like in a life time, she hasn't touch that part of her body.
It was strange. Doris felt awkward at this moment. Kai had kissed her and hug her and still he didn't touch this part of her body? No! Something was wrong but she couldn't pinpoint. Either Melissa had something to do with this or it would be he so called mermaid mother. Speaking of mermaid, she could feel Emilie's presence, maybe she had left.
"Are you alright, Mom?" Kai asked. He was baffled at her reaction and no of them was hurt. He couldn't understand why she was like this
"I..I..s.." She stuttered but then she shuggered.
Looks like she had regained herself with a prideful look advertising itself on her face. She opened her mouth to utter something.
"I need to leave" She said and then she was nowhere to be seen.
"Are you hurt?" Kai tuned to her as he inspected her body but she shooked her head.
"I'm fine. I just feel strange" Doris answered honestly and Kai kissed her hair
"You will fine. Let's go" Kai held her by her wrist as they walked into the palace.

Emily who was stunned with what Melissa did immediately teleported to the edge of the sea. She could understand Melissa's behavior towards Doris due to the return of Elisa but she was crossing her limits. From a high cliff, Emily jumped into the middle of the ocean and then she turned into a mermaid. A mermaid with crystals blue tail and vest. A blue hair and silver eyes. Her speed acceleration diving deeper into the water could not be compared to anything.
"You shouldn't have come" Queen Jessica saw the displeased and scornful look Emily's face
"You wouldn't blame me , Your majesty" She frowned and Queen Jessica chuckled
