We were taken to the rooms we'd be staying for the main time. Silver and Diamond came to my room. "What's with the long face Damian?" Diamond asked. "Is it because you heard Lilith is a Witch?" Silver asked. "No.....it just that, I don't know why I feel this way" I said.
"What do you mean?" Diamond asked. "When I saw Hendrix carrying Lilith I felt like killing him. There's this sudden anger I get any time I see both of them together" I said. "It's simple.....you're jealous" Silver said. "I can't be jealous? Why would I be jealous?" I asked.
"I know it's hard for you to admit the truth but you're falling deeper for Lilith" Diamond said. "I don't think so" I said. "Remember what I said? You'd only realize it when jealousy starts running through your veins" Silver said.
"I'm not jealous and I don't love her....the only woman I have ever loved and will continue to love till the day I die is Perfect and no one else" I said. "I doubt that" Silver said. "Let's forget about that" Diamond said. "Why didn't you tell me that Lilith is a Witch?" I asked.
"I heard it news yesterday from my Mother" Diamond replied. "How certain are you that this thing is real?" I asked. "Prophecies never lie" Diamond said. Later in the evening, Diamond, Silver and I were invited to the court yard and we honored the invitation.
Personally I never wanted to go but Diamond insisted that we go. We got there and we met Queen Mylah having some grapes. "It's a pleasure to have you all here" Queen Mylah said.
We all sat down, Queen Mylah began to talk about royal business but I didn't really pay attention. Lilith walks into the court yard, I couldn't help but stare at her. She looks so beautiful right now. Silver tapped me on the legs and I immediately snapped out my illusion. She sits down on a chair that's right in front of me.
"Hey Diamond, Hey Silver...Good evening your Majesty" Lilith said. Wait why did she greet me in that manner? She greeted everyone in a friendly manner but why is mine different?
"How are you?" Diamond asked. "Good" Lilith said. "Girl we thought you we a goner that's why we were so worried about you.....but honestly if we had known you were doing perfectly fine, we would have stayed behind" Silver said.
She smiles. "Thank you guys for caring about me". I said. "So what's going on..... between you and Hendrix?" Diamond asked. "Nothing" She replied. "Really?.....well why did he feed you?" Silver asked.
"I have no idea what you're saying" Lilith said. "Well his a nice guy....if you like him I'd support you" Diamond said. Lilith smiles sweetly while I looked at Diamond.
Lilith stood up from the chair, she picked up a strawberry and put it in her mouth. Hendrix walked pass her, he came back, he grabbed Lilith by the waist and he placed his mouth on the strawberry. Did he just kiss Lilith? I can't control it my anger, I am so angry that I didn't realize that I had broken the fork in half.
He pulled back and Lilith smiled like she enjoyed it. Lilith left and few minutes later Hendrix followed her. I can't believe she enjoyed it.
The next morning was the day of the Coronation. Everyone was so busy including Silver and Diamond, They helped with the decorations. I went for a morning stroll in the forest.
I heard footsteps from behind me and the scent is familiar. "Why are you following me...Hendrix" I asked. "Ah....I thought you wouldn't recognize me" Hendrix said. "What do you want?" I asked. "I came out for a walk and I saw you here....isn't that a coincidence?" Hendrix asked. "I highly doubt that.....what do you want?" I asked.
"Well I could tell that yesterday you were jealous" Hendrix said. Why do people think that I'm jealous? "Why would I be jealous?" I asked. "I'm a dragon and dragons have the ability to smell emotions and I could smell jealousy all over you" I said. I turned around and I was about to leave.
"I don't care if you're the Vampire King.....all I want is for you to take good care of Lilith and if you'd hurt her I'd slit your throat" Hendrix said. I looked at Hendrix. Did this little dragon just threaten me? I smirk before leaving.
The coronation began everyone was seated. The priest began to coronation, Diamond, Silver and I were seated close to Queen Mylah. Lilith walks in with a beautiful yellow dress. She looks beautiful in it.
The priest stopped and he looked at Lilith. "I now present Queen Lilith to do the honors" The Priest said. Lilith walks up to Hendrix who was seated on the throne. She cleared my throat. "We are gathered here today to witness the coming of age of a new era....a new leader, a new King." She said.
She looks at Hendrix. "Do you Hendrix swear to lead your people with compassion, wisdom and truth" Lilith asked. "I swear to forever lead my people with wisdom, compassion, truth and justice" Hendrix said. "Never forget this oath you swore on this Throne and before this people" Lilith said
"I shall carry it to my grave" Hendrix said. "Very well" Lilith said. I must confess Lilith is really good at this, she really did a good job. She held the Crown and it began to glow. "I now declear you King of all the dragons" Lilith said. The very minute the Crown touched his head I felt a strong power move across the room.
Lilith's body began to glow a white light, her eyes were white, her hair was also white. This picture reminds me of Arleta. She had White hair and her eyes becomes white when she's having a vision. Lilith placed her hands on Hendrix's face.
"Hendrix...you've grown so fast. I've watched you grow into the King that you're today" Lilith said but the problem is that this isn't Lilith's voice it's Arleta's voice. "You are everything this kingdom needs and I shall always be by your side no matter what happens" Arleta said.
She moves to the congregation, she held a girl and pulls her to the Altar.
"Hendrix, I know you love Ocean and Ocean loves you.......so I here by bless your marriage. She was created to be by your side every step of the way. You guys would make wonderful rulers and she'd make a beautiful wife...Love one another and I shall always watch over you" Arleta said. Hendrix turns to Ocean and he kissed Ocean immediately.
Arleta moves close to me. "Damian....it was a pleasure to have fought by your side but unfortunately I couldn't stop my sister Ixia. I know she's still alive and she looking for the perfect time to strike. I'm sorry I couldn't protect Perfect but I want you to protect Lilith with your life." Arleta said. She holds my hands
"Lilith's life is in danger, if Ixia finds out she possess my powers she'd have her killed and everything would be ruined...and there's one last thing you need to know, on the day Perfect was killed someone close to you betrayed you" Arleta said.
"Who was it?" I asked. "I'm afraid I can't tell you but I want you to know that you can't always trust everyone but there are some you could always trust" Arleta said. "Who betrayed me Arleta?" I asked. "My time is up Damian...I'd be watching you all. One day I shall visit" Arleta said.
Lilith collapsed but I caught her just in time. She slowly opens her eyes. "What....what happened?" Lilith asked. "Are you alright?" I asked. "Just a bit dizzy" Lilith replied "let me take you to your room" Hendrix said. I looked at Hendrix. "I'd do it myself" I said. I took Lilith to her room., Lilith fell asleep the minute I got to her room.
I sat down beside Lilith, I caressed her lips gently. I heard the door open Diamond and Silver walked in. "What do you want to do?" Silver asked. "We leave immediately" I said. "Very well...I'd inform the Queen about our departure" Diamond said.
Diamond left but Silver stayed behind. "I want to be left alone" I said. "With her?" Silver asked. "Obviously" I said. "Fine" Silver said, he left. I turned to Lilith. "I'd protect you no matter what" I whispered.
I looked at Lilith and I just realized that she's so pretty even when your so close to her and for some reason I had the urge to kiss her. What is wrong with me? I can't do this. I looked away but I honestly couldn't resist any longer. I leaned in closer and......my lips touched hers.
It felt like I had fireworks in my stomach. I've never felt this way before, I've never felt this way after kissing a girl not even Perfect. Something feels off, her lips are so soft and it also tastes sweet. I tried to pull back but I don't want to pull back.
I've slept with different women my entire existence but I have never felt this way just by kissing a woman before. There's something about Lilith and I can't explain it.
