Alpha Fredrick was still waiting for them when Kiara walked up to him. She gave him a kiss before looking at the frown on her face.
"Where have you been?" Alpha Fredrick asked, the deep frown etched on his face.
"I was in my chamber," Kiara replied, wondering what was going on. It was unlikely for him to be so suspicious about her movement.
"You weren't. Your maid told me that they haven't seen you since morning. I asked them about you not more than twenty minutes ago," Alpha Fredrick said.
Kiara's eyes dimmed at his words. It looks like she had been too lenient with those stupid servants. It was time to teach them a lesson they would never forget in a hurry. How dare they!
But for now, she had to convince him she had been home all day long or else if the truth eventually comes out, it would bring about too much talks.
