Rowland came out of the healer's place and went to meet his men. They changed to their wolf form before charging directly into the thick forest that leads to the Pack.
After he left Della and Aragon in the healer's place, he got home and had a heated argument with his father.
"How could you, dad? You kept the news from me for almost three months!" Rowland said, biting back his anger.
"I only did that because I thought I could find her before then and I don't want to jeopardize your mission!" Alpha Frederick said.
"Do you believe me when I tell you that something is wrong in this castle? How could Cassy go missing and no one is able to find her?" Rowland asked, getting frustrated.
"My son…"
"And you must have heard that I almost died too, right? Come to think of it, apart from you and Beta Frank who else knows the coordinates of my movement? You still don't find it suspicious?" Rowland said, hinting at him.
