And that stupid Ares was busy jumping up over the words that were supposed to be directed to him. He wished he could strangle him.
"Shut the fuck up, Ares" Rowland growled within.
"I never said anything, jealous freak" Ares said as he hid himself again.
"Coward" Rowland threw back at the silent wolf.
Cassy laughed at his jealous expression." Relax, Rolly. Milly told me to pass the message to Ares"
Rowland glared at her for her naughtiness. She sure has the way of getting him worked up. He will surely teach her a lesson tonight. As he thought about what he was going to do to her later in the night, a creepy smile played on his face.
Cassy noticed the smile and moved closer to him." Why that smile? What's on your mind?"
"You don't want to know," he said, still smiling.
