As they stand there staring at their accomplishment for today, Leo suddenly heard someone sobbing.
Shane starts tearing up, "Boss, thank you" she said as tears started falling.
Leo hugged her, "No, Thank You, it wouldn't become like this without you" he said in a comforting voice.
"NO, its because of you, Thanks to you I feel like my life has gain direction" she insisted as her tears falls heavy,
"Shh hush now, its because of all of us" Leo said comforting her.
"You know what?, Let's continue the date we weren't able to do" Leo said. Shane has a questioned look on her face, "What date?" she was puzzled.
"Just wake up, 4:00 in the morning tomorrow, dress casually" Leo stated,
"Why so early?" Shane complained.
"Just do it" Leo said before tucking his hands on his pockets.
"F-Fine" she said flustered before running towards the stairs.
Leo smiled and also head upstairs to the third floor, when he arrived there Shye was sitting and smoking.
Leo grabbed the cigarettes from her mouth and throw it down. "That's gonna make your nerves wrack" he said, "What the fu-, it doesn't matter anymore" she said coldly.
"Maybe now it doesn't, but it'll be useful someday" He said smiling.
"I doubt it, I've lost the will to do so" she replied with sadness in her voice.
"I think both of us are in the same situation, but let me tell you this" Leo sat beside hers.
Shye was silent, "These hands of ours manage to touch the heart of others, I don't see a reason why it can't hold our own, so just have faith in yourself " those were his words.
Shye stood up crying, she mouthed "Thank you" before going downstairs.
Leo followed her back to the house,
"Uhmm Shye, If you ever feel like playing, Shane ordered a small digital piano it would be down at the coffee shop" Leo said before heading towards his room.
Leo was about to open the door when Shye suddenly grabs his neck and turn him around.
As soon as they're eyes met, Shye press her soft lips on Leo's, "Thank you, so much" she said before going inside Shane's room.
Leo smiled and answered back even though she's no there anymore,
"Glad I can help my junior" he said then entered the room.
Amarié was already asleep when he got in, he let out a sighing breath "This woman takes all the bed space" he said as she stares at Amarié.
He goes to the bathroom to shower and after finishing, he goes to Amy gently pushed her to her side of the bed.
Unknowingly Leo laid down beside her with only a towel covering his lower body he stares at the ceiling 'Who can occupy the last room?' he thinks in his head.
After a while, Leo fall asleep naked beside Amarié.
As the clock strikes three, the slight sound made by his phone wakes him up. "I haven't slept that long" he talks to his phone.
"That's why it's cold" he notices that he's naked. He rushed to the bathroom and quickly had a warm shower. He wore grey cargo shorts and a plain white shirt paired with white socks and sneakers.
After that he goes out to the kitchen and started preparing food. He tries to be as quiet as possible when cooking.
Leo prepared ham sandwich, a thermos full of coffee, some eggs and a bottle of orange juice. He grabs a small basket and put everything inside.
Three-thirty, he heads downstairs and place the basket inside the car. He also placed a small blanket and a foldable table and chair inside.
After that he went upstairs and sat on the couch,
When the clock strikes four, Shane's door opened, Shane came out wearing white linen shorts, a cream cami top and a brown blazer.
Leo stood up smiling, "You look stunning" his manly voice said,
"T-thank you" Shane said flattered.
"Shall we go?" Leo asked her.
"Sure" She answered back.
"What's wrong you look uncomfortable?" Leo noticed
"It's just that... I'm not used to this stuff" She said embarrassed.
"Well don't be, just treat me normally" he softly laugh and grab Shane's hands and pulls her downstairs.
After hearing Leo said that, her heart was in relief. Leo pulled her until they reached the van, "Get in" Leo said as she opens the door for her. She got in without hesitation.
Leo was glad that her uncomfortable feeling went away fast. He rushed to the drivers seat then immediately start the car and starts driving.
"So where are we going?" Shane asked curiously
"It's a surprise my secretary" Leo answered smiling.
They were driving for an hour until they have gone off road.
"What is this place?" Shane starts to wonder.
"A secret place" he said.
After a few minutes, Leo stopped on an open field. "Stay here for a moment" Leo ordered and he gets out of the car.
Leo opened the trunk of his van creating a large space at the back, he sets up the table at the back of the van. He placed the blanket at the big spaced at the back of the van and he took out the basket he prepared.
After a while, he finished preparing and he fetched Shane from the shotgun seat,
"Hey there, its all ready" Leo said as she open the car door, "So what did you prepare Mr.?" Shane ask curious.
"Just something simple" he smiled then offers his hands, she gracefully takes his hand "Thank you" she mouthed.
Leo walks her towards the small table facing the open field, And as soon as they reached it,
"It's so beautiful" She said as the beautiful sun spreads its light.
"I know, we were just in time" he said softly laughing.
"How did you find this place?" she asked, Leo pointed at the fences " My mother left it with me" he replied.
Shannon was too stunned to speak, she sat at the table without saying a word still amazed by the beauty brought by the rising of the sun.
Leo grabbed his camera and took a candid photo of her, "So.. Did you like my little surprise?" Leo ask her as he sits in front of her.
She clenched her chest and keeps staring at the sun "I love it" she said.
"I love it too" Leo said staring at her beautiful face.
Leo took all of the things he prepared, he prepared two plates with a ham sandwich and some eggs, "Coffee or Orange Juice?" he asks Shane, "Orange juice please" she answered, "Right away, Ma'am" he said as he pours a glass.
"Shall we eat?, this will get cold" Leo stated, "S-sure" she replied finally separating her eyes from the sunrise.
As she looks at the plate prepared, "Did you make all of these?" she asked, "Yeah, Of course" Leo answered back.
"This looks delicious" she mentioned as she grabs utensils,
"Did you like my surprise?" Leo questioned her, "I like it..., a lot," she answered with her lips forming a curve.
"But that's not all" Leo mentioned, "You still have more?" Shane was curious.
Leo reached at the bottom of the basket, and as he pulls out his hand, a small white box comes to Shane's sight.
"That's for me?" Shane looks worriedly excited, "Yeah" Leo opened the box, and as he did Shane's eyes widen,
"I can't accept that, it looks so expensive" she tries to reject it, "Just accept it, for me" Leo insisted,
"May I?" Leo offered to put it on her, "S-sure" she gathered her hair at left side and Leo moved to her back and clasp the necklace.
"There compliments your beautiful neck" Leo complimented her,
"Thank you so much this is one of the best gift I have ever received" Shane was tearing up as she stares at the Black Dahlia Flower Necklace.
The two started eating breakfast while conversing about the shop.
