(Hmmm, everything seems to be well, and if all traits can evolve then I might be able to become much stronger, although I shouldn't count on it, my best bet is to use my traits and create a new one as soon as I can)
As I pondered I noticed Lasse looking at my like I was crazy for looking at the air, so she might not be aware of my trait screen, I should see if she has something similar later on.
And so I started thinking about the best ways to continue to get stronger, and settled in circulating destructive aura inside of my body at all times while we travel to get rid of the remaining Calamities.
(Alright, that seems like a good plan)
And so I stopped staring at my traits and walked towards Lasse.

I looked at the sky and made a rough estimate with the sun and our current location.
The trip shouldn't take longer than two weeks.

During the trip Lasse struggled to keep, as part of her training I made her run alongside me until she collapsed and then I continued with her on my back waiting for her to rest so she could jog again.
During this time her "level" increased by two, gaining four points and we also discovered that her leveling up restores her stamina. It was quite unusual seeing her panting and sweating and then suddenly be fine.
As we continued the temperature started increasing and the air started getting more dry until most plants were nowhere to be seen, being replaced with white sand that spread as far as the eye could see.
I was fine but Lasse was feeling very uncomfortable, sweating profusely without me needing to train her. And I couldn't blame her, after all, this desert was hotter than those in earth.
As I reached our destination I slowed our pace.

And so I continued walking, However, I didn't mind the traps and walked in them. There were spikes that barely scratched my skin and explosions that simply bruised me, the pain didn't even register.
As I walked and walked throughout futile attempt at stopping me I eventually reached a spot with no traps, and I could hear the sound of breathing just bellow the sand.
I got ready to throw a punch.
And said punch traveled all the way to my objective, waking her up like a painful alarm clock.
As a second passed my prey unburied itself, and I could see a green woman that towered over me.

She started laughing.

As she said that the barbarian cracked her neck and approached me.
I stopped circulating destructive aura inside me.

While I could kill her easily with my destructive aura, I didn't want that. I wanted to recieve a punch that would make me stronger.
And this one was perfect for that.
She punched me in the chest but it didn't hurt, I retaliated by breaking her ribs with hook.
She grew in size slightly.

I didn't respond, I didn't need to.
Next she gave me an uppercut, and the impact was much greater, this is why I wanted to fight her, the more damage she takes the stronger she gets.
(Let's harm her as much as possible, and try not to kill her too early)
We continued trading punches, and I made sure to break as many bones as possible with each hit I gave her.
As she grew stronger her punches started blowing the sand away and she started breaking my bones as well, and seeing this I started smiling wider.
[You're quite creepy aren't you?]
She said something but I didn't hear it, I was too focused on the fight to care about her words.
She tried to grab my neck, I put my hand on hers and crushed it, then I dislocated her shoulder.
[AAHGGH]
I took the opening I made and crushed her toes with my foot, she then punched me and I was sent flying for 100 meters, bouncing along the way.
I then stood up with a jump and went back for more, she tried to greet me with a punch but I dodged it and quickly grabbed the shoulder i dislocated earlier, using a lot of strength to rip it out.
[AAAHHHHHH]
She then kicked me in the chest, breaking most of my insides, but I could still go.
I kicked her hips, making her twist and fall buts she used her arm and jumped towards me.
She used the momentum to headbutt me, so I bit her ear off and puched her ribs once more.
She and I were very hurt, but we could still take more.
We both threw jabs and the same time and our fist met, my arm broke and hers went flying due to my strength.
Now she could only kick but her strength went off the charts as she jumped and went in for another headbutt, I tilted my head and her good ear clashed against my jaws, breaking it and damaging itself.
I turned around with haste and stuck my nails on her eyes, she screamed and groaned but it didn't matter.
I used her wining as an opportunity, so I grabbed her collarbone from the left and broke it and kicked one of her legs, making it useless.
She was now as harmed as she could get, armless, blind, deaf and with just one leg.
She jumped with her remaining leg with all of her strength, this was her last breath and she was the strongest in this singular moment.
The ground bellow her one foot distorted viciously, the sand melted into glass and she left an after image, she was the fastest thing I had seen and I made sure to recieve the attack head on.
As her head came into contact with my chest her cranium broke and she digged through my flesh and bone effortlessly, the explosion was brutal and the only part that remained of me was my cranium, spine and the bones of my limbs.
But I was still alive.
My brain was intact.
I regenerated, and started seeing once again.
Stronger.
Better.
