Mary.
I squeezed my body firmly into him as I gave him a bear hug, and he felt soft. I opened my eyes and saw that it was actually my pillow and not him. I asked myself, "Where is Henry?" I assumed that he was either outside washing his car or in the kitchen preparing breakfast for us.
I got out of bed and smiled as I put on my nightgown that was tidily folded next to me as memories of last night filled my head. As I blushed, my cheeks turned pink, and I felt bad. I dismissed the concept and made my way to the Kitchen with the hopes finding him there.
Suddenly, I noticed something unusual in the living room. The door was wide open and Henry never kept the door open for any reason, he'd always lock me up inside. something was definitely wrong, I sensed it.
I could run away, I thought but I knew I'ld endanger my life by doing so. My freedom was right in front of me, but I couldn't simply flee. Who would I turn to? After my friend and parents were murdered, the only person I had was Henry, who did everything he could to protect me. Someone was out there trying to kill me, and I knew it. Fear gripped me as I heard a loud sound in the kitchen, followed by plate clattering.
"Henry?" I inquired. There was no reaction.
"Is that you, Henry?" I asked again as I moved towards the kitchen. Suddenly, the room was surrounded by a group of men dressed in black. Some had guns, while others had knives. My lungs became heavy with breath, and I felt dizzy.
The cold breeze swept across my body and I shivered as I opened my eyes. Had I been sleeping?, the room was very dark and quiet.
"Hello", I said aloud.
"Hello, is anybody in here", this time I was louder. I still didn't hear a sound , just as I was about to shout again, the door came open and two men rushed towards me, grabbing me forcefully, I tried to struggle with them but they were too strong.
(Sorry for the short chapter guys, I've been busy with school and exams, I'll update this soon).
