Hey yoh! What's up?
My name's Nimi, am a Historian/Archivist, and welcome to the 23rd Century.
Step into this dimension and explore a future Earth with me.
I know what you're thinking right, " you're wondering if humans are supposed to be existing in the 23rd Century"?
Well, yeah, we are still alive and existing but maybe not in the way you imagine it because things are messed up, everything's changed and an unexpected phenomenon happened!
It broke the whole world.
But we'll get to that later, because right now, as your history narrator and navigator, it's my job to tell you all about this messed-up Century.
Pretty exciting, isn't it?
As I mentioned earlier, a lot of things have changed; Earth, the global economy, people, government, and most especially technology.
All that I mentioned have all changed unimaginably, and everyone's a nerd now.
Cool nerds though, because we all use technology in our daily lives which is different from the ones in the past.
What else can I say?
Revolution, if it's not.
Revolution paved the way, made the way, and changed the way, even our way of thinking has completely changed too.
Absurd, isn't it?
The way of living now has completely changed, no, it's like it has been commutated, contradicting the way people lived in the past which is more normal and decent.
Although, our way of living isn't that bad in my opinion, rather, it's just not decent.
I remember learning about Human Evolution into the modern century during my internship at one of Earth's most prestigious museums in history "Who Are We".
It showed recorded videos, presentations, pictures, etc, of our Antecedents from the 2000s through a gigantic holographic monitor.
At that moment, I felt some kind of extraordinary feeling in me as well as broken.
I was broken because their future (our antecedents) was us and look at what we've made, a shattered planet, broken people, and lost souls.
What more could happen, after all, we dominated the galaxy and the solar system, we have the key to creating more intelligent technologies, all the human race is separated and much more, but still, my planet suffers everything.
I mean, people no longer give birth traditionally anymore, you can just request a child of your choice from the HUMAN- a massive lab from the Fenané clan that recreates, clones, and produces humans.
Technology has enabled us to do so much more and cure many things, that we are no longer dying or getting affected by stupid diseases and stuff.
Life is much more susceptible but the easiness is a lot more complicated than you and I think.
Am sure you're wondering why this doesn't excite me because it sounds nice and futuristic, well, at times I wish I could have lived my time in the past, like in the year 2025 or 2022.
Those were my favorite years that were mentioned at the museum.
I mean, just imagine that...
