This evening would be very hard to vividly narrate. But it goes as follows,
The night has come and as Sonn founded, the visitors may have to sleep with the villagers (their main-house has no individual rooms. Simoun's bed, on the other hand, is covered with dusty mist) - with their whole consent, of course. That night, Cosco, the old farmer, gave acceptance to Alexandrovna and Noel in his house. He is the comrade of the old-Kublai. While Stacia, because Cosco only had two vacant beds, admitted herself to sleep in Enoch (son of Kublai) and his wife's (Jane) home. Enoch has his father Kublai's bed abandoned in air since he died. There, he suggested that Stacia would sleep - in the meantime, however.
Sonn guided them where they are to sleep. The villagers are wholly in will to accept the visitors considering the fact that they are the proprietor's relatives.
Entering gate, they got in to the four-blocks-height-secured village. It was a gloomy night, the moon is obstructed by clouds, blocking its gleam to the arc, there are torches everywhere.
From their initial step passing the gate, a sloppy stairs made of stones emerged its appearance. In the middle of which stood two consecutive street lamps which uncovers the hidden gloss of the stone stairs. That stairs leads to the elevated part of the village - which stood houses made of acacia woods, thereon (for the vast part of the village stands on savannah biome). However, if you pass the gate and decided to go left, you are, therefore, on the subsided part of the village - and there, you will encounter Enoch's house and many houses made still of acacia.
There are certain number of gates the village has - North, East, West, and South wings gate and lastly, a gate located at the very Southeast wings of the village. In total, the village has five gates.
As it happened, Sonn resolved to go and rest at their main-house knowing that the three is sheltered - and there he is settled. the three visitors were ultimately invulnerable for the night's mayhem, ready for their night slumber - Noel and Alexandrovna settled in Cosco's house; and Stacia, pondering that she is not with her cousins, is feeling inwardly nervous. She, however, makes herself fixed to be apparently grateful to her amenable dwellers.
"Please, pardon our small home." Enoch said as soon as Stacia entered his house.
"I am beyond grateful." Responded Stacia. Jane, Enoch's wife, welcomed her in her most cordial and fine impression and said,
"Welcome, lady, and come in." The venerable voice of the lady made her feel pleasant.
Stacia is well-composed, aesthetic and far adorable. She has an average height as well as average body flesh physiology, well dressed and light voiced lady. Her face looks wide and her nose looks plump - there is not a single remarkable feature in her face but she is well commendable, though.
Stacia has a different room wherein she will sleep - for it will be truly awkward if she will sleep together with the family (Enoch and Jane have an infant son named Enochy). . .
Late as Stacia was lodged on the bed (Kublai's bed and, therefore, Kublai's room) and the door is closed, she heard something intriguing at the living room where the family usually sleeps. Enoch's living room and kitchen are in unbroken manner connected. She dared not to speak yet the sound strongly riveted her sentiments - something like wood broke.
"AHHHHHHHH!" A lady shouted! The siren coming from the house is brazing around! Stacia wearily took a glimpse and the bloody scene stood after her.
"Arrggg... Arrggg.." A Zombie broke the door and progressed, vigorously biting Enoch and Jane's arm! Enochy, the infant, has fallen down the ground!
"Get... AHHHH! Lady, please forgo this scene! Snatch my son out!" Enoch shouted, cracking his voice!
Villagers rapidly run to get Sonn into the situation. But in instance, mobs of green, fleshy zombies emerged from here and there! Stacia preceded the scene, grabbed Enochy out to the door, got out the house and locked the two parents out. Just in time when Sonn arrived for he heard the bizarre sound, echoing loud!
"Please, take care of our Enochy! Close the door and let us die!" Enoch shouted as Sonn is about to save them. They, including the villagers, stood before the window witnessing the traumatizing tragedy. The two dying villagers, Enoch and his wife, have their veins and nerves appearing blue and then in instance. . . green! They turned into zombie and they are now zombie!
To them, this is a great discovery. He who has been bitten by a zombie will turn into a zombie in abrupt moment.
"They have been biten. . . and the virus will then infect their flesh..." Sonn cried seeing them becoming zombies, tears flowed, but he ran to and fro, rapidly proceeding and bravely executed the other zombies roaming. Blood marked itself from there to there. And to the villagers trembling hearts, they ran, closed their home locked. Alexandrovna and Noel made their appearance and seeing Stacia standing before the propelling occurrence, has an infant covered by her arms, they ran to her.
"Stacia! What happene-" Alexandrovna was on the cusp of asking when she, too, saw what was happening inside the house by the window. Sonn get to cover the windows with banner for the three zombies (two are Enoch and his wife) are aggressively in amok. The torches inside the home soon died making the house really dark. Sonn then approached the party just to tell them 'be tranquil' and,
"Noel and Alexandrovna, you may kindly go and rest. Cosco is with you."
"W... What about her?" Asked Noel gently. "The elder Cosco only has two vacant beds."
"Stacia, sleep on my bed tonight. I won't be bothered to not rest at all. I will go and mine minerals." Sonn responded.
"Manly as am I, I could go there. And Stacia, be with Alexandrovna at Mr. Cosco's home." Noel expressed as if he was innately gentleman.
"Yes, you are right."
Stacia then, carrying the infant, is crying audibly. With Alexandrovna, they both walked to be accepted in Cosco's comfort. The aged man welcomed them.
"I saw what happened, let the child be with me. He is my old-friend's newest heredity." Stacia held the child Enochy to him - which is in siren, crying out loud. Cosco soothed the child.
Sonn and Noel walked together slowly dark in the fields as they observe the present biosphere.
"Don't you think of constructing an animal farm over there?" Noel asked as they slowly proceed - alluding to the vacant area behind the unfinished bastion-mansion located at the west.
"Help me to do so. He-he-he." He giggled but there is something distinct with his voice. No wonder, Sonn is depressed. He is, by far, being mocked by the ceaseless tragedy surpassing rapidly in time. First, the death of Kublai; second, the departure of Simoun; and now, the cease of Enoch and his wife due to zombie corruption (however, they exist still as zombies). He is subdued by the fate in the apex that he. . . he thought of serving himself as a bread for zombies. But no, he cannot and will never do that. Sonn is brave.
They reached the main-house and there settled. Sonn said to him that here you will rest. And Noel responded that he has no problem having so. And Sonn said he will dig and mine there (under the underground-basement project in which he toured them ere they eat dinner and go rest). And they both conversed in congruence.
The night passed quietly. A scratch of sound won't be heard. It's too dark that you may feel blind as you walk. The threatening night, the deafening silence, and the blinding gloom ruled the night.
