°° Hours after the dramatic and bothersome confession Julie sat in front of dressing table staring at her dolled up reflection on the mirror . She still couldn't believe how fast things had escalated to this ! .
' How the hell did I become his girlfriend? ' Juliette practically screamed in her mind , her friends had questioned her about the turn of events but she didn't know what and how to answer their bubbling questions so she made up a lie and said that he confessed and decided to give him a try . She hoped that her friends would keep her false lies to themselves . But that was just a fragment of her wishful thinking .
Drew also dropped by with another shocking bomb ***
" Little fish how do you feel...being my girl" he whispered close to her ear his bubble gum mint breath falling just above her neck , she shuddered not out of fear but excitement? .
She pushed him away but he held her wrist and twisted it around her waist pulling her close to him . Her eyes widened at the sudden twist and pull that made her heart skip a beat . His grip didn't hurt but was firm .
" Now ! tell me how you feel little fish ? " he asked again pulling her even closer to his drool worthy body .
" I feel- feel it's not easy ! . Now please let me go you're too - close ! ' she finally replied and he let her hand go " Don't worry am sure you're gonna love it , just in time" he assured tugging a few strands of her brown hair slightly between his fingers .
Julie's already reddened face couldn't go any further and so did her mind , " I'll never love it , cause I don't want it so... let's break up this silly excuse of a joke " she harrumphed . ' Wait why was she mad ? ' she asked herself in her mind as she halfheartedly glared at him .
" Do you really want that , fishy ? " he asked playfully tugging her hair , " If you do , all the girl's out there will murder you cause you won't be under my protection and...care " he added the last word with a caress on her cheek .
She felt more warmth rise to her cheeks especially the one where his surprisingly chilly fingers laid caressing it . A sudden urge to feel his caress more suddenly passed in her mind but she shook her head and moved away from him and his addictive caresses .
" You scared now little fish ? " Julie heard him ask behind her as she stared out her window , " Am not scared_ but I think you would " she dropped the bomb and soon regretted her bravado .
" Why would I ? but maybe you should cause just like the rest you'll fall for me and the title I've granted you with" Drew replied calmly with a hint of mirth that didn't quite reach his black eyes .
Julie wanted to laugh out loud at his prideful words but refrained from getting too comfortable with him .
" You shouldn't be too prideful about such things Murray....I mean D-Drew " Juliette scolded herself for speaking to him so formally .
Now she has really angered him thanks to her big mouth , she looked up and stared at his stone cold face only to find out that his eyes had softened a bit but with a blink of her eye that warming softness was gone and was replaced with a chilling glare .
" You don't think you'll fall . But think again cause you already are mine to begin with , so falling for me won't be that hard . Fish cake " he uttered every word slowly and addictively close to her shivering neck .
" I'll make you beg for me to love you desperately but if you think your heart is up for it then take the challenge Fishy " . Drew added with smirk .
" I accept your challenge but if you fall first you'll do everything I want for the rest of the year " she coughed on her own foolish words but what was said was done and sealed there was no turning back now . Not ever .
" Anything you want ? you sure know how to go big but the question is can you handle big ? " he whispered his voice husky and dangerously low making her shiver and tremble out of nervousness .
Still not really understanding Drew's words clearly she went ahead and replied senselessly " Big ? oh I can handle any kind of Big . It doesn't scare me at all " she replied almost rolling her eyes at his obliviousness .
Drew only chuckled at her naive words , ' Corrupting her is going to be something worthy of my attention ' he thought in his mind as he stared at her innocent little face that had no idea of what the world could do but especially what he could do to her .
" Since you wanna go big , I'll grant your wish " he remarked as he approached her door , coming out of her train of thoughts Julie quickly asked " What do you mean ? " .
He stopped and then replied " Get dressed , we are going out tonight . And you better look good and worthy of your title " he slightly warned before he left her in a dilemma .
' Going out ! , I'll be breaking the rules if I do so but he will be pissed , what should I do now ? ' Julie thought as she took out an outfit from her small closet .
She took out a deep green crop top , at the end of the full sleeves black ribbons were sawn on them skillfully . The neckline was perfect for her cause her round chest was safely hidden inside securely , black jeans , a pair of white sneakers and her hair tied in a loose bun .
She wanted him to fall for her ? where did she even get this stupid bravado , it was going to get her in trouble and it's not like she isn't in one now . She applied some makeup on her face that somehow turned out smokey and chic at the same time .

She stood up from where she had settled and made her way to open window , staring at the sky that had darkened revealing the once hidden stars .
The campus still looked lively with students walking around , chatting , laughing and gossiping . Some of the students that spotted Julie smiled or giggled at her and among themselves , while some just stared at her with unreasonable expressions on their faces .
After half an hour the students went to their dorms to freshen up and change for the last meal of the day but not Julie since she had lost her appetite due to the anxiety and bubbling worry at the pit of her body.
Her friends seemed to have thought the same so they didn't come , she stood there staring at the darkening night for quite some time before she heard a knock on her door .
" Who is it ? " she asked even though she already guessed who it was at this time of the night , spraying herself with the rosewood perfume she proceeded to open the door .
" You sure like to take your time " Drew stated blankly as he got inside from the window , Julie who was still looking for the person who had knocked before turned around with a frightened gasp .
" You ? how did you get all the way there ? " she asked as she filled her eyes with his boyish appearance , he was wearing a black T-shirt underneath a black blazing Jacket , a pair of black fitting jeans and black boots . His hair disheveled and out of place as it laid on one side of his face , even in a full black outfit he looked dashing just like a famous movie star .
Julie thought in her mind as she took in his appearance . " Like what you see , huh! " . he started as he leaned on her window , his lips curled up slightly.
Snapping out of her trance she closed her door and glared at him " I should be the one asking you that " she tried acting brave and bold but her eyes said otherwise .
" Not really cause I've seen better" he deadpanned as he pushed himself away from the window , and took slow and breathtaking steps towards her . Trapping her in his gaze challenging her to keep on with her false boldness . Averting her gaze she stared at the ceiling unable to hold his intense gaze .
" Let's go ! dear fishy " he declared as he took casual strides to the door , " First before we go , I have a name and second where are we going ? " she questioned Crossing her arms on her chest .
" Chickening out I see . So soon but what did I expect from a naive and foolish little girl like you " he stated with a hint of mockery and sarcasm . Julie pursued her lips then replied " You misunderstood me ! am not backing out , let's go " Julie smiled and then proceeded to open the door before he had the chance .
" Ooh please , you first" he stated trying to act like a gentleman but his eyes said the opposite . Julie rolled her eyes and stepped outside her fuzzy warm room , she was scared and worried a bit anxious too but she didn't want to let him see that .
Juliette smiled gingerly as she looked left and right , making sure there wasn't a single soul on the hall she closed her door as quietly as possible before following Drew who was two steps ahead of her .
" ummm ! you there_ I mean Drew . How are we gonna sneak out of here , the entrance probably has guards and the Matron so... there's no way we won't be caught . I thought we would_use the window like in the movies.... it's safer " Juliette added with a stammer but her words seemed to fall on deaf ears cause Drew didn't answer her nor did his expression change even a bit . They walked for minutes in complete silence . With her quietly pursuing her lips .
After a while Julie finally saw the Main entrance where there were three guards and the strict Matron on duty chatting and laughing .
She couldn't do this , Julie quickly pulled Drew behind one of the black pillars in the building almost pinning him to it . " Listen I quit , I can't do this anymore . Look the guards and the Matron are right there and they are going to catch us , I have a lot to lose unlike you am poor and I only have a scholarship .
Am sorry I don't want to be your girl anymore I can't handle risks such as this " Juliette explained , it was only foolish bravado at first but now it was a matter of losing her scholarship....if they were to get caught right now and sent to the principal's office she would for sure lose her scholarship and be sent back home where her Mother would be waiting for her just to kill her and send her to hell everyday for the rest of her life .
But if she looked at it in a bright side she would fulfill one of her bucket list wishes ' Get caught sneaking out with a cute boy in highschool ' , but no way in hell is she gonna let that happen today at least not this way .
Just when she was about to turn and leave the place quietly Drew caught her wrist and pulled her back swiftly almost crashing her against his broad shoulders .
With a gasp and wide eyes Julie looked up at his towering figure " wh-what are y-you doing ? " Julie slowly asked as she tried to push him away , cheeks already warming up , turning red .
Drew didn't say anything and just tugged her hand for her to follow him , pulling her hand away didn't help cause he had her hand trapped in a firm grip .
Having no other choice but to go with the flow Julie accepted her fate , the three women and a man stood halfway through the entrance conversing and laughing . Being too engrossed in their chitchat they failed to notice them swiftly passing through the huge door or maybe they just didn't want to get involved .
Julie's earlier anxious and worrisome heart still couldn't get over the rush and excited feeling from the little stunt they had pulled a few seconds ago .
Drew let go of her wrist " Your expressions are clearer than your makeup , you pique my interest . Am curious to see more of your expressions in different occasions" Drew's eyes held raw curiosity and a hint of dark mischief that raised goosebumps on Julie's skin .
Julie followed him behind a deserted building where she saw a black motorbike that she always sees in the movies , Drew hopped on his bike and signalled for her to hop on too .
It looked like her bucket list would be fulfilled quickly than she had previously thought it would , Drew took his helmet and handed the other one to her before he put on his .
Julie hopped on and sat far away from him trying to act girly like , " You need an invitation to move closer little fish cause I sure as hell won't give it to you . Use you common sense if you don't want to fall off " he stated with a hint of mockery that didn't go unoticed by the pouting Julie .
'He sure is full of himself when I was only trying to give him space but if that's the case then don't mind me " Julie grumbled before she moved close to him , wrapping her arms tightly around his waist almost squeezing the hell out of him .
Drew chuckled before he drove off at a normal pace , they passed through the first gate so easily the guards didn't question them nor did they try to stop them either . It was the same with the last gate too .
They drove awayon the main road for a few minutes before Drew drove off the road following a dark dusty road inside the creepy and eerie forest that surrounded the academy .
The dead trees , vines and shrubs looked dark and creepy as if they were creatures of some sort . The moonlight tried to pass through the evergreen trees but only ended up creating creepy shadows . From a far Julie heard crows cawing , crickets chirping and a few bats flew close to them but she wasn't scared in fact she wanted to watch them closely . Weird ! .
After a few minutes Julie saw a wide open space that had a wide cave at the middle , there were a lot of expensive looking cars , motorcycles , SUVs and a few vans parked around the cave .
Drew parked his bike at the end of the other bikes before he held Julie's hand in his leading her inside the creepy cave . " Wait ! wait where are we going ? " Julie asked anxiousness bubbling up again at the pit of her tummy .
" It's a secret and besides you'll see in a few minutes " Drew stared at her pale face before he squeezed her hand gently .
Julie's eyes widened attempting to ask him about the little gesture but decided against it since he was already staring at the dark cave that didn't look so dark anymore due to the dancing disco lights and the booming music , the whole place looked nothing like how it looked outside.
The walls were made out of marbles , the floors were made out of tiles that covered the stairs too . Drew and Julie went down the stairs before they finally saw two buff bodyguards who stood on either sides of the entrance that led to the underground club . The bodyguards bowed when Drew was at their line of sight before giving Julie a pointed look " Don't worry she's with me " Drew informed and they nodded .
Stepping inside the cave like club situated underground that was filled with different people , disco lights , disco balls , booming music that could almost deafen her ears .
When Julie looked closely at the faces of the boys and girls she realized that they were her classmates and a lot of them she had seen across the halls and around the campus . And some were new faces , handsome and cute faces too . Julie thought in her mind.
The smell of alcohol , expensive perfume and cigarettes roamed around the air , intoxicating her slightly . Drew took her to the counter and ordered drinks for them " One glass of orange - pineapple juice and expectira , make it velvet grape and apple " he ordered one of the bartender who stared at Julie for a split second before making their drinks .
Julie had never been to a club before , the feeling was exciting and scary at the same time , when she scanned through the crowd she spotted her friends ! who were dancing and enjoying themselves .
She saw Jane in a red short gown , her brown hair let loose , light make up on her face but her lips were painted red . Black heels and a small black purse on her short sleeved shoulder , she was dancing away to the intoxicating tune with Max !? .
Her eyes widened even more for the millionth time tonight when she saw Sylvia too dancing and shaking her body like a pro , unlike Jane Sylvia had worn a black crop top matched with a mini polka dot flowy skirt , finishing up the look with white simple low heeled boots . Dancing with one of the school's hearthrob who was also a famous teen star in the music industry Zack?. .
" I can't believe what am seeing right now? am I perhaps dreaming ? " Julie asked herself , pinching her cheeks to wake herself up from this unbelievable state she was in . When she felt the burn , only then did she realized that this wasn't a dream .
" What's there not to believe , little lamb " though he said it as a statement Julie still felt obliged to reply , "Everything here is not believable " she sighed and then took slow sips of her delicious drink under Drew's curious stare .
She was naive and pure to the core , foolishly brave sometimes but unlike the other girls he had met before she wasn't faking her character enough to disgust him . She was the complete opposite of his...Vernice .
" Stay here , I'll be back in a few minutes " Drew informed her and leaned on her cheek , leaving her with a small peck on the cheek . " Okay "Julie replied with a slight blush . This was awkward .
Some of the students who were partying stopped for a second and stared at them with different emotions in their flickering eyes , which seemed oddly in different colours!? .
Drew disappeared within the crowd and she was left alone sipping her deliciously intoxicating drink , feeling bored Julie decided to join her friends who were still dancing . Squeezing through the crowd who pushed , pulled and stepped on her was quit tiring but she still made it . Thank God .
" Jane !? " Julie pulled Jane's shoulder shaking it slowly to gain her attention , " Wha_who....ooh Julie , you ! why are you here? " Jane asked with a puzzled look . " I should be the one asking you that not the other way around? " Julie crossed her arms over her chest .
" Max brought me here and Sylvia too " Jane explained looking around for Sylvia who was nowhere to be seen and so was that cute popstar she was dancing with .
" So who brought you here? " Jane asked wriggling her eyebrows up and down in question . " I_...him_ Dr.." just when Julie was about to reply the music suddenly stopped playing the limelight fell on her . What's going on? .
" Everybody listen the fuck up alright" the DJ suddenly demanded through the Mic , murmurs and whispers erupted .
" So the thing is , my man here whom we all know . The young master of this club Drew has finally dumped his long time bitch " he started and the people in the club clapped and cheered . The limelight still on the frozen to the spot Julie .
" Yeah ! yeah we all are happy but that's not the only news , our young master has got a new girl who you should all respect and give all the privileges you gave Helen . Our new young mistress is none other than the one standing under the limelight of course " the DJ added before all eyes fell on Julie who was silently wishing that this was all a dream . Julie screamed in her mind to calm her nerves .
" How could he do this to me " Julie smiled gingerly at the hundred pairs of eyes all on her . The crowd of people on her left moved back allowing a familiar figure to pass through , it was Drew who was being followed by another figure holding a small plush red pillow that held a small shiny bracelet on it . Securely.
His long and graceful strides echoed on the club's surface awaking her dazed out state , he stopped right before her gaze , towering her and her forced smile .
She stared up at him craning her neck a bit , " What are you doing " ? Julie whispered with nervous smile . Drew cocked his head to the side and replied " What do you think am doing , can't you see lovely dove" he remarked giving her a new nickname in a whim .
" Lo_lovely dove ! what ? " Julie stammered her face turning beat red , " Lovely dove , you are my girl and my girl deserves luxury " he commented as he took the shiny bracelet from the plush pillow .
Drew reached for her hand and kissed the back of her palm , before he slid the bracelet on her wrist .
The bracelet was made of gold , diamond and emeralds carved beautifully into small heart shapes that dangled when she moved her hand , it looked expensive and just over the top . But still no one could deny that it was beautiful and worth to die for .
Everyone's eyes widened with curiosity, envy , greed , glares and stares . " Isn't that one of the finest bracelets owned by Lady Ginger? "
" Yes! it's the same design , rumour has it that she designed it herself back when she was still a teen "
" They say that every jewelry on that bracelet was especially collected and refined by her family's jewelry company in Arcadia "
" It's one of a kind and the only design in the whole world "
" Forget the world , in all the realms no one has ever been able to get their hands on it let alone make one that looked like it "

Listening to the crowd's words one by one made Julie feel even more nervous , ' Who's Lady Ginger , does this bracelet belong to her ? , then why did Drew give it to her ?. A million questions roamed around in Julie's mind like a storm without answers .
Drew squeezed her hand to gain her lost attention before he whispered close to her ear " You like it ? " he asked with a hint of anticipation but Julie couldn't believe that he wanted to hear her reply ,
" Yes ! I guess?" Julie replied with uncertainty . He frowned .
" You guess ? " Drew asked and Julie could almost feel like he was disappointed , " No ! I mean I like it so very much , th_ thank you honey " Julie blurted out to avoid angering him , she stood on her toes and gave him a peck on his cheek .
' Shit ! why did I do that ? but wait am his girlfriend this is no_normal ' Julie tried to reason in her mind , meanwhile Drew was taken aback by her little bold gesture for a few seconds before he chuckled and caressed her cheek " Aren't you a cute little dove ? " . She was blushing hard now .
" Kiss her ! kiss her ! kiss her ! kiss her " the crowd suddenly started chanting and agreeing , even her two best friends were on it too?! .
Julie turned her head to the crowd that got louder and crazier , anxiousness and unfamiliar flutter bubbled up in her heart . This was wrong .
This wasn't how she wanted to have her first kiss not this way , not with someone she didn't know and love . Her eyes stung , her heart ached since she was helpless and also because she had brought it upon herself .
Drew leaned in on her his hands wrapped around her waist firmly , she wanted to tell him to stop but the words were stuck on her throat almost choking her .
He leaned closer to her his black eyes distant and cold without a hint of mischief or playfulness in them , her whole body shook nervously even goosebumps where quick to appear on her skin .
Julie could feel his warm minty breath that hit her senses hard , his lips hovered over hers for a few minutes before he brought one of his hands on her cheek hiding her lips from everybody's eyes .
He placed his thumb on top of her lips before his lips landed on his thumb instead of her lips? . The spectators cheered since they all thought and witnessed him kissing her but that was not the case . Julie couldn't believe what was happening but she still was thankful for his consideration .
When he pulled away Julie couldn't help but hug him tightly " Thank you ! thank you ! thank you so ! so much " Julie expressed her gratitude . A sinister smile curled up on his devilish lips when Julie pulled away from him to look at the cheering crowd .
After a while the booming music and the dancing continued with the crowd of people congratulating her for becoming Drew's new girlfriend .
Julie sat near the counter with her friends and a bunch of new girls chatting away , Julie kept on drinking glass after glass of her favourite orange _pineapple juice . But unbeknownst to her was that every drink she had downed on had little extracts of alcohol essence in them .
Having had too many to say too much Julie felt a bit light headed , even her character had changed she was more like a chatter box now since she had eased up around new people .
" Do you know how lucky you are to have Drew ? " a girl named Turkan her knew friend asked with a tipsy smile . Clearly showing how drunk she was .
" Y_Yes I know ! cause his my man now " Julie replied laughing senselessly , " I am a lucky bit_bitch " she added finishing up another drink in one go .
Jane was on the verge of passing out while Sylvia was again nowhere to be found , " Hey where's Sylvia? " Julie asked Jane who couldn't think straight. " That little naughty girl is probably making out with her boyfriend" Jane smiled mischievously .

" Ladies I think your time's up ! " a male's voice resonated in the almost empty club , a group of six good looking boys turned up behind the girls who had sat in a circle .
" But baby I wanna stay a little longer " one of Julie's new friends whined at her boyfriend clearly drunk .
"Niccah ! you've had enough for tonight and you know we have got to go back to school before dawn " A brown haired boy with crystal blue eyes explained calmly since he knew how drunk she was .
" But charlie ! I don't wanna" the girl named Niccah whined some more as she made her way to her boyfriend .
" No ! can do sweetheart" the boy with brown hair wasn't only blessed with good looks but also incredible patience for his brunette .
" Ellie ! you too , come on let's go home " Josh Ellie's boyfriend also stated and unlike the rest she was a bit clear headed . " Home ! I don't want to go back , let's go to Malibu " Ellie grumbled hugging her boyfriend.
" Alright , we will but let's go back home and pack our stuff first " Josh smiled , patting her back slowly . "Really? " she asked , he nodded " Have I ever lied to you " . Ellie smiled and hugged him some more .
" Phoebe !!! , I can't believe you drunk this much even after you had promised me that you wouldn't . I'll surely teach you a lesson when we get back home , you naughty girl " Cole who was Phoebe's boyfriend sighed with dark mischief playing in his brown eyes.
" No ! am sorry I_ didn't mean to " Phoebe started but Cole cut her off , " No ! you meant it alright , I haven't punished for quite some time now that's why you decided to go against my words . I'll punish you for a whole week" he smiled mischievously as he stared at her nervousness .
" Jake ? look am not drunk today ! " Turkan Julie's new friend said running towards her red haired boyfriend almost tripping and falling before he caught her in his arms sighing . " I can see that , you really aren't drunk . My dear crazie pie " Jake replied with a shake of his head . He knew she was lying .
After a while the six boys including Drew and Max made their way out of the club with their partners . The parking lot was almost empty with only two Ferrari kinds of cars black and grey , two Lamborghini trucks , lastly two cool Motorbikes all in black .
Charles and Niccah were the first ones to leave on their silvery grey Ferrari before Ellie and Josh who were going to Malibu the next morning .
Phoebe and Cole left shortly after in their blue Lamborghini truck . Jake and Turkan also left after wards .
Drew and Julie hopped on their ride and so did Max and Jane . And they drove away heading back to the academy , It was almost dawn so they drove fast and used some shortcuts before finally arriving at the campus with only a few minutes to spare before sun rise .

Helping Julie to her room and to her bed , Drew stared at her exhausted face then the bracelet on her wrist .
" Next time , watch the sunrise with me " he prophesized before turning to look at the sun slowly rising at the nick of time . After the sun had risen Drew left Julie's room . Going back to his .
When he stepped in his room Drew's eyes slightly narrowed when he saw the people present , he closed his door . " What are you ! doing here? " Drew asked with a stoned face masking his expression .
" Honey aren't you happy to see me here? " Drew's mother , Lady Ginger asked with concern as she stepped close to him .
" Come on son , give your mother and I a break we have waited all night for you but you didn't show up " Drew's father explained with a small frown . Drew black eyes turned back to grey as he stared at his mother's face .
" I missed you ! Mom...and Dad " Drew finally dropped his stoned mask as he hugged his Mother tightly , " I missed you too....son " Lady Ginger hugged him back with the same emotions as his so .
" Now where is this girlfriend of yours? " she added still embracing her son .
