On the way home, Maverick thought about Liam. The more he thought the more he realized how much Liam had suffered. And to top the hat off, his mother was nearly killed by his grandfather's orders.
Seeing Liam vent his anger and frustration today was all he could take. There was more that he understood and more he need to find out. The only downfall was that he had to rely on others to help him find the truth. To whom should I turn to get help?
As soon as Maverick went to his place he asked his right-hand man to look into the information given by Liam.
"I want you to find the truth on the blue file in three days,"
"Sir, some of.."
"DO what I told you,"
"But sir, some of these people are already...." he stopped and looked at him.
"What?"
"killed under the orders of Master,"
Then only Maverick remember that his righthand man's father was his grandfather's most confident. But how did he know about these just by looking at the documents?
"How do you know about these?"
"Hmm... sir, my dad told me about all these before he passed away and told me to keep them with confidentially till the time is right to reveal,"
"Do you have proof or any evidence to make a proper claim?"
"I will find them and get to you in two days, sir,"
"Two days?"
"Yes sir, they are kept in a safe in my old house, a bit far from here,"
"I will come with you,"
"Ok, sir,"
The next two days he spent the day going through the details they gathered. He was shocked by what he found. How could grandfather be so ruthless, he didn't even let the killed person's families live a peaceful life?
"Sir these diaries were kept especially hidden by my father. I think it's time to open them,"
"Seems like he had documented everything," said Maverick looking at the pile of diaries.
"Yes sir, but we will have to spend a few days to go through these," he said looking at them with a grim face.
After two days we came back with a pile of diaries and when I thought of having to go through them I felt really tired. I hated reading but if I need to find the proof I have to go through them whether I like it or not.
Maverick picked one book from the pile and went through it. He was shocked to see how detailed everything was written. It had details about the vehicles of the gang members and the planning they had. After going through the books, he found the first one written almost thirty years ago.
"These date back to thirty years," said Maverick.
"Yes, sir. But I think there are others that are not documented like this,"
"You mean my grandfather had done many things before this too?"
"Yes, according to the things my father said, he never spared anyone in his way,"
After reading for two days straight and cross-checking details, Maverick was amazed to realize that all the details given by Liam up to now were true. He used his gang to learn more about these families mentioned in the few books he read. Many have died with time or left the country in fear.
"This is going to be hard. But we can't get anyone else to help us as well," said Maverick looking at the pile of books in front of him.
"Why sir,"
"All these have confidential details that we cannot give out easily but the people who are involved,"
"Yes sir. But why don't we ask your cousin to help us,"
"You mean Liam?"
"Yes sir,"
"DO you think he will help?"
"Maybe. Isn't he also trying to find out about these,"
"yes, I will give him a call and see,"

While going through the books, Maverick found details about Liam's mother. This was something he really didn't want to believe but the proof was just in front of his eyes. The diary read,
"Lady of Junior Alexender - to be killed by making it look like an accident after leaving the house.
Reason - to kill her because she found out Master's secrets including all the details.
People who will involve in the incident: -------- -------------- ---------------------- ----------------------"
After note: I am not happy to do this mission. But I cannot give up on the orders of my Master. Mama was a very kind person, a patient woman. She was able to brighten the place where she was. I feel sorry for the little Master. He is still young, but I know Master has planned something big to him. I only hope I can help him grow up to be a better man than the Ruthless Master.

Maverick was shocked reading this. What Liam said was true and the evidence is right in front of him. He felt so angry to realize how manipulative his grandfather had been. Especially to Liam rather than him. Maverick had been jealous of Liam's freedom and the luxuries he had after meeting him, but never knew the pain he had gone through.
