A week went by with more findings and more confusion. I was having difficulty dealing with all the meetings and going through all the plans for the following months. Sarah had been helping by being by my side and managing the work while Alex's father had been taking care of the financial side till he comes back.
Suddenly Mr.Willson called.
"Hi, Mr.Willson,"
"Ben, Noah would like to see you all,"
"OK, I will be there with the others,"
I called Alex and gave him the news.
By the time we got there, Alex was already with Mr.Willson. Even though he was prepared for this at that moment he was doing much worse than any of us could console him. After talking with Him I called Liam to join us, who agreed to be with us.
"Mr.Willson,"
"You must be Liam, the guy who made all this mess,"
"I am sorry sir, I know you cannot forgive me. But I had to do them at that time to save my father from my own grandfather," he said with a very unhappy face.
"Sir, may I see Noah," He pleaded almost.
"Yes sure," with that Mr.Willson opened the door to Noah's room.
I went with Liam, who looked very emotional at the time. He took hold of Noah's hand.
"Little Noah, I am sorry, I never wanted any of these to happen. I am really sorry Noah, please forgive me for trying to save my father. But I promise you I will end all this revenge and hatred my grandfather had with me,"
With that, there was a long beep making, and everyone outside come to run in. A few minutes later the doctor declared that Noah was no more. With a heavy heart, I helped Mr.Willson get ready for the next days and the funeral.
Noah had already made arrangements for the place where he want to be. A beautiful place overlooking the sea.
"Noah wanted to be near a beach, to watch the sunrise and sunset," said Mr.Willson.
"This is a beautiful place," said Sarah looking around.
"Yes, I bought this land, especially for him. I can also visit him peacefully," said Mr.Willson looking at the place where Noah lay.
"I think it's better to head back Mr.Willson," Said Alex, helping him out.
"Thank you, I would like to stay with him a bit more,"
With that, we left the place with Liam joining us. He looked devastated. And had been blaming himself for all that had happened.
"Liam, Noah's illness was not caused by you, he had it since he was small," I said giving him a reassurance squeeze. "And he had made these arrangements himself many years ago,"
Liam seems to be a bit calm after that. We made him stay with us at our home and I asked Markus to take care of him.
Next day after the funeral.
"Good morning, Liam," I said as I saw him coming out to the living room.
"Good morning,"
"Would you like some tea or coffee?" asked Sarah with a soft "I know you" smile.
"Coffee please,"
Last night I told Sarah about Liam being a friend of her brother.
"So you were the guy my brother spent time with those days," she said handing him the coffee.
Liam looked at me.
"I told her, and she faintly remember the incident, but not your face," I said dragging Sarah to sit next to me.
"Yes, you were their lucky charm,"
"I remember everyone giving me lollipops and candy, and later getting scolded by my father," she said trying to remember that time.
"Dave loved you so much and never wanted to leave his little sister alone. I remember the girl who wanted to woo her was pretty angry with this little kid,"
"Oh really?" she asked.
"Yes, he never took eyes off you,"
Sarah looked at me, with a slight blush on her face.
