Elsa's anger was quick and spontaneous like a gush of water out of a pipe that had been kept shut and was now suddenly opened. She let it out all at once and if it scared Vanessa, she did not show it.
"What the hell is the meaning of this, Vanessa?" She fumed. "Why do you always consider yourself the sun of this family, like everyone else is supposed to revolve around you?"
Vanessa let out a soft chuckle. "Because that is who I am, sweetheart. Without me, you'd all cease to exist. Surely, you of all people should have gotten that by now." Her tone was sarcastic.
Elsa felt the roaring flood of anger in her welling up to her heart. She sighed inwardly. It was just like Vanessa to make this about her
"You're forgetting something," Elsa said, her tone biting.
The smug look on Vanessa's face still remained. "That's ridiculous, but go on."
