Vanessa turned to see that just like herself, Travis's eyes were fixated on Elsa the whole time until she vanished out of sight. His eyes returned to her. She saw layers of mystery on them. They looked upon her like they held the secrets of the world and he was just getting ready to spill it to her.
She led him into her bedroom. This was a rare thing with Vanessa. She never let outsiders into her bedroom unless they were really trusted. Travis fit into the second category.
Her bedroom consisted of a large expanse of space. About half of the room contained her bed, her wardrobe, and her other personal items. The other half was like a mini office. It had a large round table that was made mostly of oak wood, her father's favorite piece of nature. Four chairs were arranged around the table in pairs opposite each other.
