Quite unexpectedly, the deep silence that hung over the air and was occasionally interrupted by the chirping of the nearby birds and little creatures in the woods disappeared at once. It was replaced by a loud buzzing sound that was coming from a drone which flew overhead.
Helen Hall saw it first. In her eyes, it looked like a big ship with hazy red fume surrounding it. Danny McCarthy looked up, following her cue. A knowing look came to his face at once.
"Oh, it looks like the police have already caught up with us," He announced.
Helen Hall had an uncertain look on her face.
"Those are police drones," Danny explained. "I didn't even know they coveted these parameters too," He stated matter-of-factly. "They're going to take good care of you."
