Travis moved closer, book in hand. Vanessa could not have looked more eager to see what was contained in the book he held. She strained her neck impatiently until he finally got close enough for her to grab the book from him.
"Have you found it?" Her voice echoed eagerly. "The Book of Truth. Is that it?"
Travis looked uncertain. "I'm not sure, Vanessa," He said. Her countenance fell at once. His voice cut through the room again. "But I think you should see this. It's an ancient Hindu book. I was able to decipher what some of the text means but not all because well, my software does not cover such languages."
Vanessa gave a vague nod. She collected the book from his hands and began to study it, then a disappointed look crossed her face.
"This is not what we're looking for," She muttered.
"Is it totally useless?" Travis inquired.
