She studied the man's solid features, taking special notice of his total lack of empathy. Or maybe it was just her mind distorting her view of everything. Because Mr. Martinez's next words discredited every thought she had already formed in her heart about him.

You have a striking resemblance with your sister, with the delicate facial features and all," His eyes were roaming all over her face. "I liked Isabella from the very first moment I saw her. And you? Well, I'm just starting to get to know you."
Rachel made a face. She was not sure if she was listening to an eulogy or anything useful that could help her find her sister.
