Chestnut County or the dome of the dead as it was known by many in the city was an area that was considered to be out of bounds for most ordinary humans. This was due to the fact that there were more vampires there than werewolves, humans, and robots joined together.
Rumors had it that the vampires here lived at will and were not obedient to any higher authority apart from those of a mysterious master that no one knew of. Rumors Aldo had it that their mysterious master was Vlad Keddrick but everyone knew that Vlad Keddrick had turned a new leaf, or so it seemed. He could not be mixed up with such a scandalous pact.
The truth never found its way out of Chestnut County, so who the vampires answered to and what they did around the county remained a mystery to most people on the outside.
