The door hissed open and Isabella walked into the compressed space that served as a laboratory for herself and Dr. Tyler Sanchez. Her eyes rolled over to the room surveying everything as if she was just seeing it for the first time.
Dr. Tyler Sanchez stood at the far end of the laboratory. He was working his hands on something. He turned when he saw Isabella and winked at her, welcoming her back to their cubicle.
Isabella knew the drill. Without being told what to do, she walked over to the corner of the laboratory where a dish lay for collecting her phone and all other electronic devices. She dropped her phone into the dish and hung her bag on the wall.
Then, she began to approach Dr. Sanchez, eager to see what he'd had going on already. As she neared him, she noticed for the first time since she arrived that there was someone strange lying down on the bed where Terrence McGregor lay just yesterday.
