"Why do I still live?"
"What more do you want from me? I gave everything I had to you. To them. Look what they've made of our dream. This bloated. Rotting carcass of an empire is driven not by reason and hope. But by fear, hate, and ignorance. Better that we had all burned in the fires of horus' ambition than lived to see this." -Roboute Guilliman
Ulven walked up to a door that was littered with runes and engravings. It seemed to exist and not exist at the same time. He opened the door and entered a luxurious shop. Ulven was used to this scene. It had been a week since they arrived at the mountain hideout and saw Odin's amazing abilities.
He had seen the items he sold and was amazed sadly he could not get them, as Odin only sold and would not give them for free. This didn't stop him from buying the data shards that Odin sold, which had helped them get new insight into many things that they had lost.
One of their greatest gains was the A.I and interplanetary ship data shards. To Ulven, this didn't cost much, but he didn't bring much money and he guessed his bank account had been seized by now.
Greg, the oldest, had a few items that he traded which helped them gain the data shards and after having them, it was as if there were going at the speed of light, making progress on things they once found impossible.
During this week, Odin was mostly inside the store with the mission. He had gained access to a new room that he could use as a workshop. The workshop had the tools needed, but Odin had to bring the items and knowledge to make anything.
Odin mostly focused on the power armor and bolter, as he wanted to see if he could manufacture them and sell them at his store. Anything made in the workshop could be sold and Odin would get 100% of the profit. This was to encourage him to study and make new items that could one day surpass the peak of humanity from the parallel world.
Odin had first worked on the ammo and had made some prototypes. He was still working on the propulsion system and the penetrative tip, but the rest was easy to make.
The bolter and the power armor were very easy to make. The only problems would be the cables, power source, and neural points to connect the user to the armor. After much study, he had made a blueprint for a new set of power armor.
This power armor was much lighter and gave greater mobility the armor was made using, illicium the same metal used in the plating for the colossus. The metal was three times as lighter than the ceramite and plasteel armor and twice as durable. He had also made a general intelligence focused on combat to help the user.
This armor was supposed to be the end of all power armor, an armor made to evolve with its user over time. It was hard, maybe even impossible, to make an armor that perfectly fit every role, but Odin wanted the challenge.
He wanted to incorporate all the pros of every type of armor and even add the abilities of the primarchs into them. Such as Corax's ability to be invisible even in plain sight or even the combination of Sanguinis and Konrad curze foresight using general intelligence.
He was also interested in making his own space marines, but he wanted to fuse all the gene seeds into one, making a legion of primarchs to help him when the time came.
Odin was already aware that for humanity to return to its golden age, he had to destroy the Imperium and build it anew. Even if he had the tech, it would still require a lot of manpower, and this was his solution.
These thoughts and ideas would easily be considered heretical, but Odin didn't care about such things. If he set his mind to do it, then it would be done and he wouldn't care how much suffering he created once it was finished.
Odin was also thinking about finding UR-025 and maybe extracting his data storage. He must have something from the golden age. If he didn't then Odin didn't even know what to say. He also wanted to find the spirit of eternity and convince the A.I to help him, even if it might be pointless.
As the sun set on the world of Axis-9, the door to the store opened. Løvinne entered and looked around the store before speaking.
"Odin, are you here?"
"Yeah, come to the workshop!" Odin yelled
Løvinne entered the workshop and looked at the many instruments and materials around the room.
"Can we talk in private?" Løvinne said as she closed the door.
"Yeah, what's up?" Odin said as he turned around.
"Remember when we first met, and you talked about my powers?" Løvinne said as she walked closer to Odin.
"Ah yeah, it seems to be connected to the warp yet not like it's part of reality and part of the immaterial realm."
"Before I say any more, promise me you won't speak of this, ok?"
"I promise not to speak about this on my soul." Odin said as he placed his hand on the area of his stomach.
Løvinne took a deep breath before she spoke.
"I'm what you would call a... druid." Løvinne said as she huddled up and closed her eyes, thinking Odin would harm her.
"So you're a vegan or something?" Odin joked.
"No, but aren't you I don't know afraid of me or something?" Løvinne said.
"First of all you went up to me and told me and now you acting as if I forced you two if I didn't like you I would have killed you before this and three I don't have a third reason but my OCD made me." Odin said as he kept looking at Løvinne his eyes seem to stare at something not present.
Løvinne stared at Odin before she laughed.
"You're fucking weird!" Løvinne said as she held her abdomen.
"So, miss druid, what are your abilities?" Odin said as he leaned back in his chair.
Løvinne quickly calmed down and explained.
She had awakened her powers two months ago and, at first; she found out she could see visions of past events that had happened in an area. The requirement to see the visions was that they had to be very historical events. She couldn't see a casual day but could see the founding of the city or when the emperor had visited before.
The visions could last an hour or a few minutes, depending on how long the event was. The further the event was, the clearer it was, but if it was an event that happened two weeks ago, it would be blurry.
She could also rapidly heal and had enhanced physical abilities. From Odin's guess, she was at least around the same strength as a sage from his world.
He also learned that there was an alien race called druids that controlled the beast from their description. It seemed to be eldar, but they had mutated. The druids had many abilities, such as calling storms and even creating life out of just dirt.
Of course, these types of spells required strong druids or, for many druids to join, to cast the spells, but this showed some of their strength.
The druids were few estimated to only be 10,000, but they were strong and the beast protected them. The druids had been the cause of them losing their technology, so they were hated and if a human had their powers, it was a death sentence.
After Løvinne left, Odin seemed to be lost in thought. Until a smile appeared on his face, a smile that held pure apathy compared to his appearance currently.
"I guess I'll kidnapped one of those eldar and use them for my armor and even for my future space marines." Odin muttered as he turned around and started to work on his bolter ammo.
