The truth is we are all the beast we look for , the beast we think others have, definitely exist in us too .

It all started on a very descriptive Friday morning, the sun was up but not as hot as the boiling one during the noon time , remember this is Africa , dade came home from work , he works as a police officer and I guess he was on the night shift therefore he returns home every morning for a week and it was the last day of the week for him , despite the fact that Dade wasn't married , he lived with Fiona , a lady who would wash his clothes and make him feel like he had a wife already hahahaha. Fiona did the cooking for him and he would eat and thank her all the time but deep in his heart he knew he wasn't ready for marriage.

I would say to be a man isn't as easy as it sounds for the ladies but Fiona would not understand when Dade explains this, she would always want to push him to marry her but Dade would resist and usually most times misunderstanding stares up a serious argument between them. Dade returned home that fateful friday morning and was welcomed by Fiona and a very strange news to his ears , she told dade she was pregnant ! "what! " Dade shouted , "this cannot be true" , you should find who is responsible for this and I'm very sure it is not me " Dade concluded in anger .

Fiona who stared at Dade while he was busy talking bursted into tears and screaming was heard all over the apartment, a very small apartment with two bedrooms ,a toilet merging a shower and WC together,a very small sitting room with a plasma TV hanging on the wall , Dade had furnished the whole apartment to his taste of beatification.

The screaming of Fiona created an unexpected awareness that lured the neighbors into knocking on the sitting room door which Leads to the sitting room . It was a nightmare for Dade as he couldn't do anything more than to appeal to Fiona ,therefore being apologetic of his sudden rejection towards Fiona's news of being pregnant.

" ummm please it's nothing, we are fine " Dade replied to uloma , the nearest and closest neighbor to his apartment as she was busy asking what the problem was by knocking on the door heavily.
