Wang was quite depressed because he thought he just got cheated. An old and dirty beggar were selling a jade pendant carved with a Chinese dragon, just like the dragon wraps around a pillar, which appealed to him a lot.
"young man, do you want to have a look at the jade?" the old beggar noticed the guy who kept on watching this jade pendant.
"This jade pendant has been handed down from my ancestors, it has a long history, as I konw, this jade pendant does get over 300 years old. But now I have to sell it to make a living, if you really want to, I will give you a little discount" this old man smiled, the wrinkles on his face were all piled together, which frightened other people who were looking at the jade pendant and most of then fled like a left arrow.
"er" Wang hesitated, but still, he nodded, the old man handed the jade pendant and he took it. However, when he got it, it was like a magic charm that made him not want to give it back. His mind went into a trance and asked"how much is it? I will take it"
The old man smiled again and five fingers were held up"five thousand US dollars please" then he pulled out a POS machine.
Wang then just took out his credit card and paid for the money. The old man said, "Thank you, the tip is $50, that adds up to $550" then this old man ran away just like a Olympic athlete, out of the sight of his "customers".
Then Wang gave a shiver as if he were awake, "what happened, why I am holding this ugly jade pendant, and where is that wierd guy" now Wang looked at the jade pendant again and found that it was just like a old and ugly man pole-dancing in the bar. Then he noticed the credit card holding in his hand."NONONO" he thought ,"I hope I didn't pay for this stupid thing" then trembling, he took out his phone and found that sad news with the number 550 on it.
"Ah, I am sorry for you kid, I think he is fraud, he might used something that confused our minds to make us feel that this jade pendant is, emm, fabulous. Because he just took out a POS machine that a beggar will never have" The man who was still there comforted Wang, left with a sigh.
"WHY ME, can't you distinguish the rich from the crowd? " Wang gave a little hysterical vent and went home.
