Khloé knows she needs to get a plan together, and soon. First, she needs to get through the day. Her pack still needs her at this time, regardless of the bomb dropped on her. She can't let her head get clouded by the worries. With that, she takes a few deep breaths and regains her control of clarity.
She loves her brother dearly, but is baffled by him hiding his mate from everyone. Why would he think that's okay to do? Is something wrong with the girl? Is he ashamed of her for some reason? Questions concern Khloé more than ever.
She takes a few deep breaths, trying to shake off the stress of the situation. She needs to get her act together, until she isn't the Alpha Female of the pack, she has responsibilities to handle. Why is she allowing this to drag her down so much? This is a massive issue of change in her life. She should be happy with the news.
She becomes a little frustrated at herself for losing her cool. Not only that, but she isn't like this ever, things don't bother her like this. When did she allow others to do this to her? Maybe she just never noticed this, the impact they have on her. She needs to get herself back on track before they notice it bothering her, that is, if they didn't already.
As a leader, she is to have her emotions under control at all times. Not cold but soft enough, she shows she cares about others' wellbeing. She wonders if is this how she will react under the stress of finding her mate. Surely not, right? She was taught better than this. She needs to reevaluate herself.
"Hey Daniel, can we talk about things later?" She says with a concerned tone.
"Of course, is there something wrong with you, Khloé?"
She hesitates to answer truthfully, "What you told me has been bothering me since yesterday."
Daniel's face frowns, "Oh. I didn't realize that you were."
"I have to admit that it has become a bit difficult to get over." She doesn't want this to tear them apart. She can't hide it forever from him.
Daniel looks heartbroken by her words, he thought she was fine with everything. He was wrong, as it turns out. It didn't sit well with him, he wanted his sister's approval more than ever, it meant the world to him for her to approve.
