It was only six o'clock in the evening and Frederick had pulled back the curtains to expose the incredible skies of the sunset. To further engrave a happier memory for Audrey, he did not allow her to sit in one place the whole day. He scooped her out of the bed and seated her in a wheelchair facing the outside world.
Meanwhile, the young lad busied himself preparing their evening meal together by the window. Soup for her and a simple faster meal for him. Together, they sat in silence admiring the beautiful painting drawn by nature as a mixture of yellow, orange, red and purple brushed the sky. To say the least, it was immensely therapeutic and breathtaking.
Occasionally, a flock of birds in a V formation flew within their sights to get back home, to remind them it was not a work of art in the museum but a majestic view from their hospital ward.
