Hello everyone!
It has been more than a year since I left I'm an Automaton, That's Right! on comatose (literally) and seemingly felt like it was discontinued. Issues that are present back then was more to my own where I have a terrible time management, half-baked story writing, and only trying to publish as many chapters as I could. That was until I hit a great wall known as the Writer's Block and I cannot seem to continue the story as I realized how it is full of plot holes here and there. Readers have complained about how the main character is outright dumb or stupid or how the story feels off with an insanely slow pacing, which was true in a sense. As my life back then was getting too hectic, and I know I don't want to continue this path of half-baked story writing, I decided to discontinue the novel for an indefinite amount of time.
However!
I did not sit idly by watching one of my intended masterpieces just rot like that. In every spare time, I tried to remake the story to be more compelling to read. I altered a lot of things like rewriting the back story of certain characters, the world building, and even changed the protagonist's back story and personality to match his supposedly wise and resourceful persona. After doing some tweaks every now and then, I finally make the decision to return publishing this story.
As of today, dated (24/09/2024), I decided to update the entirety of the story content and replace it with a new one. It is not an easy decision to make, knowing I have reached an audience over 100k views and a milestone of having over a 100 chapters, but I cannot let the story continue like this. I will gradually publish new chapters, though it is not as quick as one chapter a day. You as a reader will likely find points where it is oddly not matching between chapters, and that's because the chapter has been updated while the next one hasn't. Formulating a complex mystery story will be challenging, so I hope you'll stick around for the wild ride!
Thank you once again for your continued support to IANATRI, and I wish you all the best in your endeavors.
