Under Lord Eric's request, Caroline refused to say anything. Her calm demeanor constructed that of an impregnable barrier. Threats won't work on her, it seemed. Even faced with such odds, I had a brilliant idea of getting an answer from this lady.
"In that case, you don't have to speak a single word."
"I'm sorry?"
"As I said, you need not say a single syllable. You're just not allowed to speak anything of the case, right? Then, you can get over this barrier by simply giving me a nod or shake."
"That's true, but… I'm still not willing to give away any information to outsiders," she said, keeping her grounds. Caroline took her witch hat and staff, hurrying to get out of the café, "Well, then. If you excuse me—"
Before she could even step a meter away…
"Are you savage enough to let an innocent girl executed?" I calmly called her out.
