Two more days have passed since I reincarnated in this world in the body of Lykus and started my training.
Then... what does it mean?
—Ding.
Do I even need to answer?
[Time left: 00:00:00]
[System Activation complete. All features available.]
'Finally.'
My system activated.
'System, show me my status window.'
Without wasting any time, I called out for my status window.
And just like that, a blue screen appeared before me, floating in mid-air.

'As expected, that trash deserved to die.'
I can't help but curse that prick as I glanced at my stats.
Even though I knew what was about to come and didn't expect much, I was disappointed nonetheless.
'Nothing I can do about my insanely low stats, other than train myself. But even with that, I can't overcome the potential cap.'
At least, not now.
I don't even have an A-rank potential in any of my stats.
'Well, at least, I have a B-rank potential in strength.'
And even a B-rank potential is quite rare.
And to be honest, I was a bit surprised that he has a B-rank potential, and with that, he can't really be considered a total trash.
But the point here isn't about the potential, it's about a practical class that he failed to awaken.
Leaving that aside, my other stats were pretty much trash.
'System, do you have something that can make it easier for me to understand the difference between the rankings?'
[Showing the Ability Grade Table.]

[Ability Grade Table]

10-19 E
20-39 D
40-59 C
60-79 B
80-89 A
90-99 S
100-109 SS

The Ability Grade Table was pretty simple to understand.
It showcased each rank in a numerical value, making it easier for me to understand the difference between each ranking, but other than that there was not much to it.
'Can I check someone else's status?' I thought.
And what better way to confirm my assumption than to use it on someone, so I looked at the person present before me, sitting at the dining table, eating her food with elegance.
'Alisha Ulfred.'
'Let's try it on my dear little sister~ shall we...'
[Checking the Status Window and Potential of the character— Alisha Ulfred.]

'Oh, I can.'
I thought and looked over her status window.
After a few seconds, I noticed something peculiar.
'Favourability?... I don't remember ever seeing an element like favourability in the novel.'
I would have doubted myself if it was just favourability.
However, there was something else, other than favourability that was rather strange.
'Loyalty.'
It was also an element, I have never seen before.
'System, care to explain what is this favourability about?'
Without even asking, I kinda knew what use it might have.
I would be ashamed of myself if I failed to grasp such a simple concept.
[The favourability is an element added by the system.]
[As the name suggests, favourability is the amount of goodwill an individual possesses towards the host.]
Tha answer was pretty much what I thought it would be.
But the problem was...
'Why is it in the negative?'
I was capable enough to comprehend that it certainly wasn't a good thing.
'Is it because of Lykus, did he really do something against her?'
That is the only reason I can think of for it to be negative.
'Well, let's leave it at that.'
Nothing I can do at the moment, continuing to think of that won't help me in any way, on the other hand, it would make things difficult for me to handle.
So I decided to shift my attention towards her stats, I didn't ask about the 'Loyalty' because I knew it would be quite fundamental as favourability.
After I glanced at her stats, I came to realise one thing— The world is unfair, not to her but to me.
Her starts were quite high for her age and she was already a D-rank, unlike a certain someone.
But that's not something that surprised me, what took me off guard was her potential in a special attribute— Charm, which has an A-rank potential.
'She is certainly one of the few characters who possess two high-ranked potentials.'
I wasn't surprised about her SS-rank potential in magic, because I was already aware of it.
Another surprising thing was her stamina which was marked with a B-rank potential.
Talking about the Special Attributes, Charm and Luck— I don't have much information regarding them as it was not emphasised in the novel and since I am not a gaming nerd, I am oblivious to those.
At least, I am aware that they are not as simple as they look.
'Seems like I need to learn a lot of things.'
...Her talent sure is frightening.
'I need to deal with her before she awakens her class.'
Thinking that I looked at my status screen, specifically at...
[Skills]
As I have said before, Skills are one of two factors that can make a person's life.
The reason for that is quite simple, in this world, there is a thing called Limiter, which prohibits the inhabitants of this world from using their stats without possessing a class.
But it doesn't mean they are completely unable to make use of their stats.
They can exhibit the power of a D-rank.
What does it mean??!
It means that it won't matter if you are an S-rank or a B-rank, you won't be able to make use of your rank, if you don't have a practical class.
And what is even considered a practical class?
It's quite simple.
For example, If I am an A-rank, who possesses a chef class and not a warrior class, then even if I am an A-rank I won't be able to fight like an A-rank.
The most I can do would be to show the might of a D-rank.
However, it's not the same with the skills as this limit doesn't allow on them, and the user can use them to their full potential.
It doesn't even matter if the skill is useful when it's a low rank.
Why?
Because skills evolve and mutate with the increase in rank, even the most useless skills can turn into a real treasure.
But then again, they have obvious limitations, skills don't turn an individual capable to fight a person of the same rank. What it does is basically make the individual capable to use the same rank skills as his opponent.
For example, An A-rank Classless individual can use A-rank skills while fighting an A-rank opponent, but the chances of him winning against the A-rank opponent is quite low since he can't use his stats without any class.
The same is true for individuals possessing impractical classes.
However, exceptions are everywhere.
Some truly extraordinary skills might be able to stand toe-to-toe with the classes of the same rank and in some cases might even overpower them.
But like I said, they are exceptions and in normal circumstances, thinking about overpowering an opponent of the same rank without any class is no more than a pipe dream.
And that is why I said before, the path of an unawakened is thorny that not many individuals like to walk through.
'Let's check if I have a useful one.'
