Chapter 28 - 28 Ben V Scott 2

Author Speaking: Are you wondering why Scott is able to use "Breaker" technique. During their rigorous training, it came into light that he somewhat had mana in him. Using the little he had to perfect his technique, he was able to conjure an attack.

P.S: In this world, mana flows within every being.

But wait, having mana does not mean someone has the ability to use their affinity. He does not even know how to even use what he was not sure he has. He had mana but has he awakened his affinity?.

"Will he be able to find out his affinity in this battle?".

*********************************************

This time not caring if Ben was stronger than him or if the Ben knew of his ultimate attack, what was on his mind was to land a blow, an attack that will make his friends know that he was not a weakling. He was ready to surpass his limits to do so.

Speedily bursting forward, Ben and Scott collided landing powerful punches at each other. The round of punches was either attack or defense as it was continually jamming both of their hands but it was still Ben that had the final say as a ridiculous punch teared up Ben's guarded defense which pushed him back farther away.

Rushing back for the next attack, it was a slap to the face for Scott as just one attack from Ben hit hard that he land on the floor.

Gingered like never before, he stood up more and more times as he was hit back to the ground. Ben was talking while fighting, he stated "your magic pressure is to rough which allows me to know where you are defending. Also, I can see what you are always trying to do, because your magic pressure gives it all away. So if I use this information to fake you out, shifting your intended point of attack...… This is the result".

At this point, people had began joining Scott's friend at the audience seats as information had been passed around concerning the fight.

Scott was already tired not because the fight had lasted for like 15-20 minutes but because he was has been using his ultimate attack frequently which was wearing him down and on top of of that, he is getting severely beaten.

"I was right, Ben really is ....."

"Okay then... time to throw a real punch, don't blame me if you die", Ben said.

"Is he really telling me all this to spite me or he is teaching?. He has been giving me advised from the beginning of this battle, more like guiding me".

Once again concentrating all his mana to his fist, Ben did nothing but wonder what sort of fool he was, someone not accepting their mistakes. But his time, the mana concentrated was more powerful than the formers.

Ben could not wait for him to charge his attack so he instantly to threw a punch. As the punch was about touching Scott, he disappeared from Ben's front.

"Where did he go", Scott's eyes were hindering in search for Ben.

Scott appeared at his back with his ultimate move intact, Ben was able to decipher that as he turned with a backwards swerve with his right hand but Scott managed to dodge it as he laid low and kicked Ben's two legs which made him get shorter. Without hesitating, Scott gave him a hardcore upper cut to the chin but this it was not with his ultimate attack.

As Ben's face was flying in disarray, Scott heated his ultimate attack and as he was about to unleash it on Ben's body, a kick from below palmed on his face which made him fly away also.

Both were laying on the ground and they sat upright and gave themselves a stern look which meant "this battle is not over until it is over".

"Bastard, he faked me out with his ultimate move".

"It is obvious that you are focused on stopping my special strike. Even I could tell exactly where your right arm would attack", Scott said as he leaped up quickly.

And there was Victor, evaluating this fierce match. "Scott is using the special attack weakness, the long charge time against his opponent. He is playing mind games. Ben sees Scott special attack as an easy pitch. Ben has to swing for it. It is a perfect pitch right down the middle, that has to send him flying. That's the trigger. When you see the easy ball, you tense up. You can hit, you have to. The mere thoughts makes you use more strength than necessary".

Scott's other friends that were in the chairs watching were just dumbfounded at what Victor was explaining as their brain had started emitting smoke from the logical explanation of Victor.

Logan said "can you just make it simpler for us to understand". "Scott's special attack would be efficient against people who knows about it because they will be more scared and likely to lose control when they see it coming. Simple as ABC".

"Ohhhhhh..... I understand your point now"

"But if Scott can manage to control his mana concentration in response to his opponent movements, it will be harder for Ben to distinguish between Scott's fake and real special attack. But still, he is making tremendous progress while fighting".

"I am already getting tired. Using my special attacks consecutively is taking a toll off me. If my mana defense goes down, I am screwed.

Running towards Ben again, Scott was going for his special attack once again. Ben mustered "time to get serious".

Scott charging his attack with all the mana he had in him with Ben standing at just a single point without even having the intention of dodging the attack. He got beat as he used his so called "Breaker" technique on Ben.

Astonishingly, the body which took the attack began to fade away. At this point, Scott was confused, I felt his body when I attacked. Why is this happening.

Before he could turn his head, all everybody could see was Ben in with a blue large bolt of lightning at his right fist.

Scott saw what was coming from above and all he could do was stand still as he was vibrating like a vibrator.

"Was Scott afraid of the lightning he saw or could he feel power surging through his veins".

"Is this the end of this battle? Or the beginning of an undisputed game if stubbornness between these two".

"Does Scott still have more to offer and will he be able surpass his limits in this battle".
